レンジャーズサポーターに人種差別行為の疑い…セルティック古橋亨梧と中村俊輔が標的に

レンジャーズのサポーターが、セルティックの日本代表FW古橋亨梧に対して人種差別的な行為をした疑いが上がっている。スコットランド『ザ・ヘラルド』が伝えている。

レンジャーズは22日、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップ第3節でロス・カウンティとのアウェイゲームに臨んだ。問題の動画はその試合に向かうバスで撮影された。

レンジャーズのサポーターたちがかつてセルティックで活躍した横浜FCのMF中村俊輔を揶揄する曲を歌った後、つり目ポーズをしながら「みんなで亨梧をやろう」と歌っていたという。

スコットランド警察は、これまでのところ事件の報告はないとコメントしている一方で、レンジャーズの広報によると、クラブはこの件について調査を開始したとのことだ。

「レンジャーズはあらゆる形の人種差別を非難する。そのような行動をしてしまう人々は、私たちのクラブや、その大きさに関わらず私たちに寄り添った忠実なサポートを代表するものではない。現在、関係者を特定するために調査を行っている」

また、古橋が所属するセルティックもツイッターで声明を発表している。

「報告が正確であるならば、古橋亨梧選手に向けられたそのような不快で哀れな人種差別的な行動は絶対的な非難に値します」

「残念ながら、近年、セルティックの多くの選手が同様の人種差別的な虐待を受けています」

「すべての人に開かれたクラブとして、私たちはあらゆる形態の人種差別に断固として反対し、亨梧を全面的にサポートします」

「すべての関係者が協力して、あらゆる形態の偏見に取り組まなければなりません」

7月にヴィッセル神戸からセルティックに加入した古橋は公式戦7試合6ゴールと驚異的な活躍を見せている。

なお、両チームは29日に行われる第4節にレンジャーズのホームで直接対決を迎える。
