3季ぶりのセリエAに臨むヴェネツィア、新監督にディ・フランチェスコ氏を招へい

セリエA昇格を果たしたヴェネツィアは26日、イタリア人指揮官エウゼビオ・ディ・フランチェスコ氏(54)を新監督に招へいしたことを発表した。契約期間は2026年6月30日までとなる。

ヴェネツィアは20日に2022年10月から指揮官を務め、3季ぶりにクラブをセリエA昇格に導いたパオロ・ヴァノーリ監督と双方合意の下で契約を解除したことを発表していた。

新監督に就任したディ・フランチェスコ氏は、これまでサッスオーロやローマ、カリアリなどで監督を歴任。直近では2023年の夏にファビオ・グロッソ前監督の後任として昇格組のフロジノーネの監督に就任。
2023-24シーズンは、序盤こそコンスタントに勝ち点を稼いでいたが、昨年12月2日のミラン戦に敗れてから不振に陥ると、そこから最終節までの26試合でわずか3勝に終わり、降格圏の18位でシーズンをフィニッシュ。チームを残留に導くことはできず、16日に退任することが発表されていた。

「あまりに美しい」20年ぶりセリエA昇格、ヴェネツィアのユニフォームがイケてると絶賛され即完売

これからどうなる!?オシャレユニフォームで話題のヴェネツィア、デザインスタジオとの契約が今季で終了することに

“昇格へ本気” 一時は経営破綻のセリエB・パレルモ、セリエAクラブからエース強奪に成功

デザインが絶賛されたヴェネツィアのユニフォーム、規則違反によりクラブエンブレムを削除

ブライトン、アイルランド代表FWコノリーがヴェネツィアでの武者修行へ

ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンは14日、アイルランド代表FWアーロン・コノリー(22)がセリエBのヴェネツィアに1年間のレンタル移籍で加わることを発表した。 2016年に地元マーヴュー・ユナイテッドからブライトンの下部組織に加入したコノリーは、U-18、U-23と順調にステップアップし、2019年夏にトップチームへ昇格。同年8月31日のプレミアリーグ第4節マンチェスター・シティ戦でプレミアデビューを飾ると、10月5日に行われたプレミアリーグ第8節のトッテナム戦でプロ初ゴールを含む2ゴールを記録した。 これまでトップチームでは、公式戦52試合に出場し8ゴール3アシストをマーク。ただ、今年1月には出場機会を求めてチャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)のミドルズブラにレンタル移籍し、公式戦21試合2ゴールの数字を残していた。 快足と勝負度胸を生かした個での打開や、背後への抜け出しはクラブも高く評価するところだが、パフォーマンスの一貫性、課題の決定力改善のため、新シーズンはイタリアで研鑽を積むことになる。 2022.07.15 13:41 Fri
