昨シーズン限りでモナコを退団してフリーのベン・イェデルには、今冬にフィンランド代表FWヨエル・ポヒャンパロをパレルモへ売却したヴェネツィアが獲得に動いており、直近のローマ戦ではホームスタジアムでスタンド観戦している姿が目撃されていた。

“昇格へ本気” 一時は経営破綻のセリエB・パレルモ、セリエAクラブからエース強奪に成功

デザインが絶賛されたヴェネツィアのユニフォーム、規則違反によりクラブエンブレムを削除

ヴェネツィアにアメリカの逸材MFブシオが加入! カンザスシティ史上最高の売却額に

パレルモの名物会長として知られたマウリツィオ・ザンパリーニ氏(享年80)が、今月1日に腹膜炎の合併症によって逝去した。イタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』など複数国内メディアが報じた。 ザンパリーニ氏は、昨年12月下旬に故郷のウディネ市内の病院で腹膜炎の緊急手術を受けていた。一時は回復したものの、約1カ月後に結腸の問題によってラヴェンナの病院へ入院していたが、容態が悪化した結果、1日に帰らぬ人となった。 イタリアのスーパーチェーン『Emmezeta』の成功などで財を成したザンパリーニ氏は、1987年に当時セリエC2にいたヴェネツィアを買収し、カルチョの世界に進出。同クラブをセリエA昇格に導いた後、2002年に売却。同じタイミングでセリエBのパレルモを買収した。 パレルモでは2002年7月から2017年2月、2017年7月から2018年12月まで長らく会長を務め上げ、アルゼンチン代表FWパウロ・ディバラ(ユベントス)、ウルグアイ代表FWエディンソン・カバーニ(マンチェスター・ユナイテッド)、元アルゼンチン代表MFフランコ・バスケス(パルマ)、元アルゼンチン代表MFハビエル・パストーレ(エルチェ)といった南米出身の選手、イタリア代表FWアンドレア・ベロッティ(トリノ)、元イタリア代表FWルカ・トニといった国内の無名選手を発掘し、ビッグクラブに売却するメルカートの達人の一人として知られていた。 その一方で、短期で堪え性がないことでも知られていた同氏は在任15年間で通算40回の監督交代を敢行。現地ではクビ切り魔などと有難くない異名で呼ばれていた。 なお、ザンパリーニ氏が孫のように可愛がっていたディバラは、同氏の訃報を受け、自身の公式『インスタグラム』を通じて哀悼の意を表している。 「僕を最初に信じてくれたのはあなたでした」 「若い頃にイタリアに来た僕を、あなたを含めその家族はまるでここが僕にとって自分の家であるかのように迎えてくれました。会長、あなたは美しい街への扉を開いてくれ、そこで僕は素晴らしい人々に出会い、今でも素晴らしい友人を持っています」 「あなたは常に最大限の敬意を払い、僕にとって何がベストかを考えながら、僕が望む場所でキャリアを続ける機会を与えてくれました」 「このこと、そしてその他の多くのことについて、僕はいつでも感謝しています。そして、会長のことは決して忘れません。ありがとうございました。あなたのピチルドゥ(小さい子)より」 2022.02.02 22:51 Wed
