レアル・マドリーのクロアチア代表MFルカ・モドリッチが現状に少なからず不満を抱いているようだ。スペイン『Relevo』が報じた。
2012年8月からマドリーに在籍し、数々のタイトルを手にしてきたモドリッチ。個人としても2018年にバロンドールを受賞するなど輝かしい日々を過ごしてきた。
しかし、サウジアラビアからの関心もあった中、マドリーとの契約を1年延長して迎えた今シーズンは出番が減少。カルロ・アンチェロッティ監督は18日のラージョ・バジェカーノ戦を前にした会見で、「モドリッチとは1カ月前にこの問題について話したし、私たち2人の間では全てが明確になっている」とコメントした。
一方、シーズン開幕直後に「僕の残留の唯一の条件は、これまでと同じように競争力のある選手として扱われること」と話していたモドリッチは、こういった約束が守られていないと感じ、落胆しているとのこと。自分がベンチを温めているのはパフォーマンスの問題以上に、クラブの若手重視の方針による影響が大きいと考えているようだ。
また、この38歳はピッチ上においても重要な存在のままマドリーを去りたいと考えていた模様。夏のユーロ2024を終えた後も現役を続ける場合、現在の役割のままもう1年マドリーにとどまるという選択肢は頭にないようだ。

夫には早く引退してほしい!?モドリッチと妻の仲良しエピソード

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

マドリーがスペイン代表DFハイセン獲得合意を正式発表!プレミアリーグ終了後にチームに合流
