イングランドサッカー協会(FA)は21日、イングランド代表のメンバー変更を発表した。

17日に発表されていた当初のメンバーからGKアーロン・ラムズデール(アーセナル)、DFリース・ジェームズ(チェルシー)、DFトレント・アレクサンダー=アーノルド(リバプール)、FWタミー・エイブラハム(ローマ)がいずれもケガやコンディションの問題を理由に離脱。代わってスリーライオンズ初招集となるDFカイル・ウォーカー=ピータース(サウサンプトン)、DFタイリック・ミッチェル(クリスタル・パレス)の2選手、GKサム・ジョンストン(WBA)、FWオリー・ワトキンス(アストン・ビラ)の合計4選手が追加招集されている。

すでにカタール・ワールドカップ本大会出場を決定しているイングランドは、26日にスイス代表、29日にコートジボワール代表といずれもホームで対戦する。

2024年最後のFIFAランキングで森保ジャパンは15位をキープ! ほとんど変動なし、1年間で最も浮上したのはアンゴラで32位アップ【FIFAランキング】

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー
