セルティックがスパーズの控えGKハート獲得に動く?

セルティックがトッテナムに所属する元イングランド代表GKジョー・ハート(34)の獲得に向けて交渉を進めているようだ。移籍市場に精通するイタリア人ジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏が報じている。

一昨シーズンは元イングランド代表GKフレイザー・フォースター(現サウサンプトン)を守護神として起用し、国内2冠を達成したセルティック。しかし、昨シーズンはギリシャ代表GKヴァシリオス・バルカス、元スコットランド代表GKスコット・ベインを併用するなど守護神を固定できず。そのことが直接の原因とは言い難いが、前年に比べて失点数は10点も増えていた。

そういった事情もあり、今夏の移籍市場では新たな守護神候補の獲得に着手しており、ロマーノ氏が報じるところによれば、クラブはハート獲得に向けてトッテナムと交渉を進めているようだ。
2006年から長らくマンチェスター・シティで活躍してきたジョー・ハートだが、2016年にジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督が就任して以降、そのキャリアに陰りがさし、トリノ、ウェストハム、バーンリーと国内外のクラブをレンタルで渡り歩くも、いずれの移籍先でも思うような活躍を見せられなかった。

その後、昨年夏にはホームグロウンの資格を持つトップチーム登録の選手の不足に加え、経験豊富なセカンドGKの獲得を求めた前指揮官ジョゼ・モウリーニョのリクエストを受け、トッテナムに加入。
昨シーズンはフランス代表GKウーゴ・ロリスのバックアップとしてヨーロッパリーグ8試合を含め、公式戦10試合に出場していた。ただ、クラブは今夏にイタリア代表GKピエルルイジ・ゴッリーニをアタランタから獲得しており、序列は3番手に落ちる見込みだ。

セルティックを率いるアンジェ・ポステコグルー監督はGKにもフィールドプレーヤー並みの足元の技術を求めており、ハートはキック力を除きその要求に応えられるかは不明だが、その豊富な経験はチームにとってプラスとなるはずだ。

古橋亨梧も熱演! ポステコグルー監督らも出演するセルティックのクリスマス特別ムービーが公開

「なんとか取り戻したい」9月以来の日本代表活動の前田大然、高校の先輩・渡辺剛との初活動は「2人で活躍したい」

アジアカップの開幕が近づく中で、日本代表FW前田大然(セルティック)が自身の状態について言及した。 12日に開幕を迎えるアジアカップ2023。カタールで開催される中で日本代表は調整を続けている。 ケガの影響もあり9月以降の日本代表活動に参加できなかったが、復帰してアジアカップで合流。9日に行われたヨルダン代表とのトレーニングマッチでもゴールを記録していた。 前田は11日のトレーニング後に取材に応じ、ヨルダン戦についてコメント。「個人というかチームとして良い状態だと思います。ここ数回は辞退していたので、なんとか取り戻したいとやっていて、練習試合でしたけどしっかりゴールできて良かったです」と、ゴールを喜んだ。 セルティックでもリーグ戦5試合欠場したもの、12月中旬に復帰。5試合を戦った中、合流直前のセント・ミレン戦では10月以来のゴールを記録した。 「復帰してチームでも2、3試合やりましたし、こっちに来る前にゴールもできていたので、問題ないです」と状態は問題ないと語った前田。11日のトレーニングは途中で離脱したが「コンディションを上げたいという部分もありましたが、明日の練習から全然大丈夫なので問題ないです」と、大きな問題ではないとした。 開幕は12日だが、日本の初戦はベトナム代表と14日に行われる。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のアジア予選でも戦ったベトナム。格下ではあるが、簡単にも勝たせてもらえない相手だ。 前田は「練習前にミーティングしましたけど、ベトナムとは1点差のゲームが多くて、難しい試合になることは間違い無いです」とコメント。「ただ、前と比べるとチームは大きく進化しているので、自分たちのサッカーをすれば良い試合ができていると思います」と、今の日本代表の戦いができれば問題はないと語った。 一方で、トレーニングマッチのヨルダン戦ではカウンターから失点。前田は失点はない方が良いとしながらも、本大会前に確認できたことは良かったとした。 「失点してきていなかった中での失点ですが、試合をやっていればどうしてもしてしまいますし、大会前にチームとして経験できたこと、そういうこともあるということが分かったのはこれから先やっていく上で良かったかなと。失点は無い方がもちろんいいので、減らしていけば良いと思います」 今回の日本代表には、山梨学院大学附属高校の1つ先輩であるDF渡辺剛(ヘント)が招集されている。高校の先輩と代表では初の活動になるが、「一緒にやりたいというのは常にあったので、今回初めてそういう機会が得られたので、母校を盛り上げるように2人で活躍したいです」とコメント。ついに実現したことを喜んだ。 2024.01.11 23:57 Thu

「知らなかったからビックリした」セルティック加入井手口陽介の上半身タトゥーに驚きの声
