スカッド肥大化のユナイテッド、売却候補をリストアップ?

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドが今冬の移籍市場に向けて売却候補をリストアップしているようだ。

今夏の移籍市場でFWアレクシス・サンチェス、DFクリス・スモーリング、MFアンヘル・ゴメスの売却に成功したユナイテッド。一方でFWエディンソン・カバーニやMFドニー・ファン・デ・ベーク、DFアレックス・テレスらを補強しており、スカッドは31人に肥大化。今冬に縮小化を目指しているとのことだ。

イギリス『マンチェスター・イブニング・ニュース』によると、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)・グループステージの登録メンバーから外されたGKセルヒオ・ロメロ(33)、DFフィル・ジョーンズ(28)、DFマルコス・ロホ(30)に加えて、DFティモシー・フォス=メンサー(22)がその筆頭に。

その中で来夏に契約切れとなるのが、ロメロとロホ、フォス=メンサーの3人。ロメロとロホは延長オプションを持っているものの、プレミアリーグの登録メンバーからも除外されたロメロは今季はここまで出場機会はなく、リーグ戦に限りると最後の試合は2018年5月13日のワトフォード戦まで遡る。同じく1年以上もリーグ戦出場から遠ざかっているロホは、今年1月に古巣のエストゥディアンテスへレンタル移籍したが、完全移籍には至らなかった。

また、フィル・ジョーンズは昨年2月に2023年夏までの契約を結ぶも、今季の出場はなく、昨季もプレミアリーグでは2試合の出場にとどまっていた。22歳とまだまだ改善の余地があるフォス=メンサーは、今季は公式戦2試合に出場しているものの、やはり序列は最下層。

大物獲得が噂されるユナイテッドにとって、少しでも現金化したいところなのだろう。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
