ドログバやマルキジオ参戦! 今年5月に豪森林火災の支援に向けたチャリティーマッチ開催!

オーストラリアサッカー連盟(FFA)は27日、オーストラリアで続いている大規模な森林火災の被害者を支援する目的で5月23日にチャリティーマッチを開催することを発表した。

現在、オーストラリアでは昨年9月から現在に至るまで森林火災が多発化しており、多くの死傷者や野生動物への深刻な被害が明らかになっている。

これを受けて、FFAは被災地域のサッカーファミリー、被災地域で懸命に働く消防士やボランティアを支援するため、「#FootballForFires」という理念の下で「Football For Fires Cup」を開催することを決定した。

今回のチャリティーマッチはスタジアム所有者である政府機関の協力によって、8万2500人収容のANZスタジアム(シドニー)を無料で使用。さらに、被災地域で活動するボランティアを無料招待し、ピッチレベルに設けられるサポーターエリアには消防士と州緊急サービス局(SES)のメンバーが同じく観戦に訪れるという。

さらに、4万席以上が想定される一般販売のチケットは、大人チケットが29豪ドル(約2150円)から、ファミリーチケットが59豪ドル(約4360円)からの設定となっており、当日にユニフォームサプライヤーの『KAPPA』社が提供する特別ユニフォームや関連グッズの収益と共に、被災地域のサッカークラブや協会の施設修繕費などに寄付される予定だ。

なお、現時点で「Firefightersオーﾙスターズ」と、「SESオーﾙスターズ」の一員として参加が決定しているのは、元コートジボワール代表FWディディエ・ドログバ、元韓国代表MFパク・チソン、元イタリア代表MFクラウディオ・マルキジオ、元フランス代表FWダビド・トレゼゲ、元イングランド代表FWエミール・ヘスキー、元ベトナム代表FWレ・コン・ビンなどの世界各国のレジェンド。

さらに、サッカルーズ(オーストラリア代表)で活躍したFWジョン・アロイージやMFマーク・ミリガン、DFサイモン・コロシモらが名を連ねており、今後も続々と名プレーヤーたちの参戦がアナウンスされる予定だ。

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドで活躍した元韓国代表MFパク・チソン氏が、ファンが歌うチャントに物申した。クラブ公式サイトが伝えた。かつて京都パープルサンガ(現京都サンガF.C.)でもプレーしたパク氏は、2005年7月にPSVからユナイテッドに加入。2012年7月までプレーした。その間、プレミアリーグで4回の優勝を経験した他、チャンピオンズリーグ1回、EFLカップ3回の優勝を誇る。ユナイテッドでは、204試合に出場し28ゴール29アシストと結果を残し、レジェンドの1人となっている。しかし、そのパク氏はファンが歌うチャントに不満を抱いており、自身が現役時代の頃から気にはなっていたことだと明かした。そのチャントは、韓国人が犬の肉を食べるという文化を軽蔑した冗談が盛り込まれたチャントだ。パク氏のチャントは「Park,Park,where ever you may be you eat dogs in your country. It could be worse,you could be scouse eating rats in your council house!」というもの。日本語に訳せば「パク、パク。君はどこにでも顔を出す。君の国では犬を食べる。もっとひどいかもしれないけど、君がリバプール出身なら、公営住宅でネズミを食べる」という歌詞だ。パク氏を応援することに加え、ユナイテッドのライバルであるリバプールを嘲笑するもの。かつて貧困地域となっていたリバプール生まれの人(スカウザ)を煽り、韓国の古い文化である犬肉を食べるという文化を盛り込んだものだが、このチャントの歌詞は非常に不快だったという。そして、このチャントはパク氏が退団した後も歌われ続け、8月29日の第3節ウォルバーハンプトン戦では、韓国代表FWファン・ヒチャンがいることから、歌われていたという。パク氏はこれを聞いて、自身が抱えていた感情をユナイテッドの公式ポッドキャストで告白。ファンに対して、辞めてもらいたいと強く訴えた。「彼(ファン・ヒチャン)がそれを耳にしたことは本当に申し訳ないと思う」「私はその言葉を使わないようにファンを教育しなければならない。それは、最近の韓国人に対する人種的な侮辱にあたる」「10年後の今でもちゃんとを聞いていると、当時感じていた不快感を克服しようとしていた若い自分を気の毒に思う」「私は、アジア人や韓国人として差別され、そのような不快感に苦しんでいる若者にも責任を感じている」「韓国では状況が大きく変わり、文化も変わった」「ファンにはその言葉を歌うのはやめてほしい。韓国人がその歌を聞くと不快になる。やめる時が来た」なお、ユナイテッドはこの訴えを受けて、パク氏を支持。ファンに対してパク氏の意見を尊重することを求めていくようだ。 2021.10.04 13:20 Mon

「観客動員が少ない!」オーストラリア・Aリーグが従業員の半数解雇で事業再編へ…今季の平均観客動員数最多はシドニーFCで「1万4097人」
