ドイツ代表を率いるヨアヒム・レーブ監督から構想外を伝えられた同国代表MFトーマス・ミュラー(29)は、納得がいっていないようだ。

2010年3月にフル代表デビューを飾ったミュラーは、これまで通算100試合に出場し、歴代9位の38ゴールを記録。2010年の南アフリカ・ワールドカップ(W杯)では史上最年少となる得点王に輝き、2014年に行われたブラジルW杯でも得点ランク2位となる5ゴールの活躍で優勝の立役者となった。

しかし5日、今月20日に行われるセルビア代表との国際親善試合に先駆けた公式会見の場で、レーブ監督はバイエルンに所属するDFジェローム・ボアテング(30)、FWトーマス・ミュラー(29)、DFマッツ・フンメルス(30)が今後の構想に含まれていないことを認めた。代表チームのディレクター兼コーディネーターを務めるオリヴァー・ビアホフ氏も「トーマス(・ミュラー)、マッツ(・フンメルス)、ジェローム(・ボアテング)はドイツのために非常に多くのことを成し遂げてくれた。これまでの彼らの仕事に大きな感謝を示したい」とこれまでの功績に感謝を告げている。
そんなミュラーは6日、自身のツイッター(@esmuellert_)を更新。動画を通して自身の意見を主張した。

「もちろん僕は、監督の決定に驚いている。それは適切な方法ではないと思う」
「代表監督はスポーツ面においてあらゆる決断を下さなくてはならない。それに対して疑いはない。ただ、今回の件について考えれば考える程、怒りが沸いてくる。理解することができない」

「マッツ(・フンメルス)とジェローム(・ボアテング)と僕は、まだワールドクラスなレベルでプレーすることができる。僕らは長い時間、キャリアの大部分をドイツ代表と共に過ごし、成功を手にしてきた。敬意を欠いているよ」

「ただ、感謝していない訳ではない。私は常にユニフォームを袖を通すことを誇りに思っていた。僕は全てを与えた。皆さんには感謝はしたい。それは驚くべき旅立った」

ユーロに臨む各国指揮官を英紙がファッションチェック!イタリアはアルマーニのスーツを着用

ホームでまさかの敗戦のドイツ、レーブ監督は失望感「今日は単純に疲れていた」

「目が死んでる」意地の勝利もW杯敗退のドイツ、ハヴァーツがコスタリカ戦のMOMに選ばれるも虚無の表情「そりゃこうなる」

沈黙を破ったエジルがDFB会長を痛烈批判! ドイツ代表からの引退も発表

▽アーセナルに所属するドイツ代表MFメスト・エジル(29)が自身のツイッター(@MesutOzil1088)で3つに分けて声明を投稿。最後には、ドイツ代表からの引退を明かした。 ▽エジルは、シャルケでプロキャリアをスタートさせると、ブレーメン、レアル・マドリーと渡り歩き、2013年9月からアーセナルでプレー。ゲームメーカーとして多くのアシストを記録するなど、チームの攻撃の中心を担ってきた。 ▽世代別のドイツ代表に選出されたエジルは、2009年2月にA代表デビュー。これまで92試合に出場し23ゴールを記録。3度のワールドカップに出場し、2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップでは優勝を成し遂げていた。 ▽しかし、2018年のロシア・ワールドカップではパフォーマンスが上がらず、背番号「10」を背負うエジルは批判の的に。さらに、自身のルーツでもあるトルコの大統領を訪問するなど、政治的な問題も抱え、グループステージ敗退となった今大会の責任を各方面から問われることとなった。 ▽そんなエジルだったが、多くの批判に対して沈黙を守ってきたものの、22日にツイッターを更新。長文を投稿して自身の考えを明らかにし、様々な批判への考えを示す中、ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)会長を痛烈に批判するとともに、自身への差別を感じることを明かし、ドイツ代表からの引退を表明した。 「この数カ月間で僕が最もフラストレーションを感じた問題は、間違いなくDFB、特にDFBのラインハルト・グリンデル会長からの嫌疑だった」 「エルドガン大統領を写真を撮った後、僕はヨアヒム・レーブ監督が休暇を切り上げ、ベルリンに行き、全ての話を終わらせるために、写真について共同声明を出すように言われた。僕は意見を述べたけど、会長は自身の政治的な見解に興味を持っていた。彼の態度は見下すようなものだったけどね。それでも、僕たちはサッカーとワールドカップに集中することが最優先だということで同意した」 「ワールドカップ終了後、グリンデル会長は大会前の判断について責任を問われ、多くのプレッシャーにさらされることとなった。それは正しいと思う。そして最近、彼は僕の行動をもう一度説明しなければならないと公に言ったんだ。既にベルリンで終わっているにも関わらず、ロシアでの不甲斐ないチームの結果を僕のせいにしてね」 「これはグリンデル会長のためでなく、自分がそうしたいから話しているだけだ。僕は彼の無能さによって、スケープゴートになることはもう懲り懲りだ。僕はエルドガン大統領と写真を撮った後で、会長が僕をチームから追放したかったことを知っている。何の考えも相談もなく、彼はツイッターでそれを公表した。でも、ヨアヒム・レーブ監督と、オリバー・ビアホフ氏が僕をサポートしてくれたんだ」 「グリンデル会長と彼の支持者たちの目には、ドイツ代表が勝利すれば僕はドイツ人に見え、負ければ僕は移民にみえる。ドイツに税金を払い、ドイツの学校建設に貢献し、2014年にドイツ代表としてワールドカップで優勝したにも関わらず、社会的には受け入れられていない」 「2010年にドイツ・インテグレーションの成功例としてのバンビ賞を受賞した。2014年には、シルバー・ローレル・レリーフ賞(ドイツ国内最高のスポーツ賞)を、2015年にはドイツサッカーの大使にも任命されている。それでも僕はドイツ人じゃないのだろうか? それ以上に何があるというのだろうか? 僕の友人であるルーカス・ポドルスキやミロスラフ・クローゼは、ポーランド系ドイツ人とは言われていない。では、なぜ僕はトルコ系ドイツ人と言われるのだろうか。それはトルコだからだろうか?イスラム教徒だからだろうか?それが重要なポイントなんだと思う。トルコ系ドイツ人と呼ばれることによって、複数の国にルーツを持つ人々を差別しているように感じる。僕はドイツで生まれ育ったのに、なぜドイツ人であると受け入れてもらえないのだろうか」 「僕がDFBやその他の多くの人から受けた扱いによって、もはやドイツ代表チームのユニフォームを着たいとは思わない。僕は望まれていないと感じるし、2009年に国際舞台で自分がデビューしてからの道のりは、忘れられているように思える」 「人種差別的を内面に持つ人々は、2つの国に関係する人々がたくさんいる世界最大のサッカー連盟で働くべきではない。そのような態度では、決して選手たちを代表するなんてできない」 「最近の出来事により、僕の心はとても重い。僕は国際舞台において、ドイツ代表のためにはもうプレーしないと決断した。人種差別や軽蔑を受けながらはできない。これまでは、ドイツ代表ユニフォームに誇りと興奮を感じながら着ていたが、今はもうない」 「僕はいつもチームメイト、コーチングスタッフ、そして善良なドイツのすべての人々のために全力を尽くしてきたから、この決断はとても難しいものだった。でも、DFBの上層部の人々は僕をこのようにアツカし、トルコのルーツを軽蔑し、自分勝手な理由で政治的に僕を利用した。もう十分だ。僕はそのためにサッカーをしているわけではないし、簡単に受け入れることもしない。人種差別主義は、決して受け入れられるべきではない」 2018.07.23 11:20 Mon
