▽2日、ロシアで開催されていたコンフェデレーションズカップ2017の全日程が終了した。そして、決勝戦終了後に大会最優秀選手賞および大会得点王が発表された。

▽ドイツ代表の初優勝で幕を閉じたコンフェデレーションズカップ2017で、大会最優秀選手に与えられるゴールデンボールに輝いたのは、キャプテンとしてドイツを初優勝に導いたMFユリアン・ドラクスラー。大会を欠場したGKマヌエル・ノイアーに代わって、控えメンバー中心のスカッドでキャプテンの大役を担ったドラクスラーは、5試合に出場して1ゴール1アシストを記録。また、見事な仕掛けやパスで攻撃をけん引し、数字以上のインパクトを残した。

▽大会得点王に与えられるゴールデンブーツは、大会3ゴールのドイツ代表FWティモ・ヴェルナーが選出された。ヴェルナーは、同胞MFレオン・ゴレツカ、MFラース・シュティンドルと3ゴールで並んでいたものの、出場時間と2つのアシスト数で上回り、得点王に輝いた。

元バルサGKブラーボ、テア=シュテーゲンとの定位置争いを回想 「共存不可と断定されたが…」

18歳の若さでこの世を去ったバラック氏の次男に、パートナーが哀悼のメッセージ
