ブレントフォードが、デンマーク代表MFクリスティアン・エリクセン(29)へ短期契約のオファーを出したようだ。イギリス『アスレティック』が報じている。
昨年6月に行われたユーロ2020のフィンランド代表戦で、試合中に卒倒したエリクセン。意識を失い、ピッチ上で心肺蘇生が行われるなどしたが、無事に一命を取り留めて回復した。
その後、心臓発作の再発を防ぐための植え込み型除細動器(ICD)を装着しながら、ユース時代に在籍した古巣オーデンセで個人トレーニングを実施。現場復帰へ努力を続けていたが、ICDを装着したままではプロスポーツは行えないイタリアスポーツの決まりのもと、先月半ばにインテルと契約解除に至っていた。
新天地が注目される中、今季から初めてプレミアリーグで戦うブレントフォードが今季終了までの短期契約を打診したとのこと。同クラブはエリクセンと同胞のトーマス・フランクが監督を務めているほか、MFクリスティアン・ノルゴーアとMFマティアス・イェンセンが在籍しており、デンマークとは深い結びつきがある。
現在はスイス3部のFCキアッソでより実戦的なトレーニングを積んでいるエリクセン。先日に『DR』のインタビューで、「目標はカタールのワールドカップでプレーすること」、「身体に違和感はないし、自分の中では復帰できると確信している」と、キャリア続行の意思を改めて明言していた。

エリクセンを救ったデンマークドクター｢彼は亡くなっていた｣
MFクリスティアン・エリクセンを救ったデンマーク代表のチームドクターを務めるモルテン・ボーセン氏が、エリクセンが倒れた際の状況について改めて振り返った。 エリクセンは12日、ユーロ2020第1節のフィンランド代表戦に先発。43分にスローインのボールを受けにいった際に、そのままピッチへと力なく倒れ込んだ。 この緊急事態を乗り切ったボーセン氏は次のように振り返っている。 ｢彼が倒れた時、心臓は動いておらず亡くなっていた。心停止状態で、心肺蘇生措置を使うことになった。どの程度の確率で彼を助けられなかったかはわからないが、1度目の措置で心臓が動き出した。かなり早い蘇生だったと思う｣ ｢これまでの検査では問題がない。彼の状態は安定しており、今後も検査を継続する。今朝、クリスティアンと話すことができ、チームメートにも挨拶をしていた｣ ｢昨日の危機的な状況を乗り越えた代表チームとスタッフは今後も寄り添っていく。心の籠もったメッセージをたくさん頂けたことに感謝している｣ 2021.06.14 01:30 Mon

エリクセンの卒倒を間近で見たバルセロナFWが正直に語る「人が死体を見たらすぐに理解する」

ベッカム氏の次男ロメオが2度目の現役引退…今度は母ヴィクトリアさんと同じ道へ

ブレントフォード、リバプールで不遇のファン・デン・ベルフを5年契約で獲得
