ベッカム氏の次男ロメオが2度目の現役引退…今度は母ヴィクトリアさんと同じ道へ

ブレントフォードのオーナーがスペイン3部メリダを買収

プレミアで立見席が復活、過去の悲劇乗り越え厳格な規制のもとに順次導入

プレミアリーグとチャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)で、立見席が復活することが許可されたようだ。イギリス『BBC』が報じた。プレミアリーグのクラブでは、1990年代初頭に全てが座席になるスタジアムができ始め、現在のプレミアリーグのスタジアムでは立見席は存在しない。これは過去にスタジアムで起きた「ヒルズボロの悲劇」と呼ばれる事故の影響もあり、立見席が禁じられていたことも影響。ただ、観客は着席するはずのエリアで立ち見を続けており、特にゴール裏ではどのスタジアムでも立ち見が行われている状況だ。そんな中、2022-23シーズンからの導入を前に、2021-22シーズンの後半戦で、チェルシー、マンチェスター・シティ、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、トッテナム、カーディフ・シティの5クラブは、政府の委託を受けて「早期導入者」としての試験に参加していた。また、2022-23シーズンはブレントフォード、QPR、ウォルバーハンプトンが、ホームとアウェイで指定した座席エリアでの立ち見を行うこととなる状況。他クラブもシーズン中に参加する可能性がある。さらにウェンブリー・スタジアムでは、シーズン後半に行われる国内での試合において、ファンに向けて小規模な指定立見席を用意するという。なお、立見席を設けるためには、CCTV(防犯カメラ)の強化、スチュワードのトレーニング、ファンが個人のスペースを厳格に守ることなどの厳しい条件が設けられるという。イギリスのデジタル・文化・メディア・スポーツ大臣であるナディン・ドリーズ氏は、立見席の復活についてコメントした。「しっかりとした試験、徹底的な検証、近代的な技術のおかげで、我々のグラウンドで再び立ち見を許可する準備が整った」「我々はテラス席を復活させるのではなく、厳しい安全基準を満たしたクラブにのみ許可される」 2022.07.05 12:35 Tue
