イタリア代表のロベルト・マンチーニ監督がチームの完敗を認めた。『UEFA.com』が伝えている。

イタリアは14日、UEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2022-23リーグA・グループ3の第4節でドイツ代表と対戦した。UNL3戦未勝利の相手に立ち上がりからボールを握られると、10分に失点を許してしまう。前半終了間際にもPKで追加点を許したチームは後半に守備が崩壊して3失点。その後、FWウィルフレッド・ニョントに代表初ゴールが生まれ、終了間際にもDFアレッサンドロ・バストーニがゴールを挙げるなど意地を見せたが、2-5で敗れた。

4日に1-1のドローゲームを演じたドイツとの再戦で5失点大敗にマンチーニ監督も落胆を隠さず、相手がはるかに優れていたと完敗を認めた。

「このような形でシーズンを終えるのは残念だ。ドイツが強いのは理解しているが、我々は彼らに好きなようにプレーさせてしまった。我々にはいくつかのミスがあり、チームとしてうまく守れなかったと思う」

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。 29歳で引退した元W杯王者の転身が話題!ほぼ裸で雪山に登頂、自分の人生を見直すきっかけに
