また、現役引退後のキャリアにも言及。指導者の道を歩むつもりはないようだ。
「今のところ、どこかのチームの監督になることは考えていない。将来そうなるとは思っていない。サッカー以外のことも考えているけど、どうなるかは神のみぞ知ることだ」

クロアチア代表の美女サポーターとして一躍有名となったイヴァナ・ノールさんが、新たな水着をプロデュースしたようだ。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)でクロアチアを応援する姿が多くのファンの目を惹いたイヴァナさん。14日に行われたUEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2022-23準決勝のオランダ代表戦にも、フェイエノールト・スタディオンまで応援に駆け付けていた。
自身のインスタグラムでは観戦時の写真だけではなく、自らが手掛けた新たな水着コレクションも紹介された。
アルゼンチンやイタリアなど、各国の国旗を模した大胆なビキニやホルターネックなどに加え、男性用やジュニア用も展開。イヴァナさんはもちろん赤と白の市松模様の水着を身に付けて登場した。
ラインナップは前述の2国のほか、アメリカ、イングランド、ブラジル、フランス、ドイツ、メキシコ、スペイン。モデルを務めた各参加者は、ソロショット以外にも恋人や家族風の写真も撮影した。
紹介VTRには「素晴らしい!!!」、「私もモデルになりたい」、「いいね!ブラジルもあるじゃん!」、「アルゼンチンはどこで買えますか?」、「ビキニ姿は素晴らしく見えます!」、「すごい女王様」、「水着はどこで買えますか?」などの声が届くなど、反響を巻き起こしている。

スイスサッカー協会(SFV)は28日、来月に行われるUEFAネーションズリーグ2020-21に向けたスイス代表メンバー23名を発表した。
前回大会を4位フィニッシュしたスイスを率いるウラジミール・ペトコビッチ監督は、MFグラニト・ジャカ(アーセナル)やGKヤン・ゾンマー(ボルシアMG)、DFマヌエル・アカンジ(ドルトムント)ら主力を順当に選出。
また、チューリッヒのDFベチル・オメラギッチ(FCチューリッヒ所属)とMFジモン・ゾーム(FCチューリッヒ所属)が初選出となった。
その一方で、MFジェルダン・シャキリ(リバプール)やMFレモ・フロイラー(アタランタ)、MFデニス・ザカリア(ボルシアMG)など一部主力がメンバーを外れている。

UEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2022-23リーグA・グループ1の第1節、クロアチア代表vsオーストリア代表が3日に行われ、0-3でオーストリアが快勝した。
フランス代表とオランダ代表が同居しているグループ1。
クロアチアはモドリッチがベンチスタートとなった中、ブロゾビッチやコバチッチ、ソサらがスタメンとなった。一方、ラングニック監督が就任したオーストリアはザビッツァーやライマー、アルナウトビッチらがスタメンとなった。
立ち上がりからボールを握ったクロアチアは29分、コバチッチが左サイドからのカットインシュートでGKを強襲。
さらに32分、クラマリッチがボックス右からGK強襲のシュートを浴びせると、続く36分にはパシャリッチのヘディングシュートがバーに直撃した。
しかし41分、オーストリアがワンチャンスで先制する。バイタルエリアで仕掛けたアルナウトビッチがペナルティアーク中央からミドルシュートを突き刺した。
迎えた後半、54分にオーストリアがリードを広げる。左サイドを突破したウーバーのクロスを後半頭から投入されていたグレゴリッチュがダイレクトで合わせた。
さらに3分後、ザビッツァーのミドルシュートも決まって3-0としたオーストリアは、3失点目を受けてモドリッチを投入してきたクロアチアの反撃を許さずにシャットウアト勝利。敵地で強豪クロアチアを下し、白星発進としている。

今夏、アヤックスからアル・イテハドへと完全移籍したオランダ代表FWステーフェン・ベルフワイン(26)だが、自身の移籍にケチをつけたロナルド・クーマン監督へ反撃した。
ベルフワインは2日、アヤックスから2100万ユーロ(約33億4000万円)でアル・イテハドに完全移籍。ローラン・ブラン監督の下、FWカリム・ベンゼマやMFエンゴロ・カンテ、MFファビーニョ、MFフセム・アワールラト共にサウジ・プロ・リーグでプレーすることとなる。
若くしてヨーロッパのトップレベルから移籍したベルフワインに対し、オランダ代表のクーマン監督が激怒。「彼はアヤックスに残ることもできたはずだ。アヤックスの給料も悪くないと思う。だが、それは彼の選択だ。26歳なら、主な野心はスポーツであって経済的なものではないと思うが、それは選手が選択することだ」と、理解が難しいと語った。
公然と選手の移籍について批判したクーマン監督だったが、ベルフワインも黙っていない。オランダ『テレグラーフ』のインタビューに応じ、クーマン監督を痛烈に批判。あり得ない反応だったと苦言を呈し、クーマン監督が指揮するオランダ代表でプレーする気がないと語った.。
「もうクーマン監督の下ではプレーしたくない」
「彼は僕に電話をして、僕の言い分を聞くことだってできたはずだ。どうして僕に話もせずに、そんなことが言えるのだろうか」
「もし彼が熱心な代表監督であれば、まず僕に電話をくれたはずだ。今、僕はテレビを通じてそのことを知らなければならなかった」
「彼とは素晴らしい瞬間をたくさん過ごしたのに、これはあまりにも安易すぎるし、僕は彼に失望した」
「オランダ代表でプレーすることは常に名誉なことだと思っていた。しかし、この代表監督の下では、もうその仕事はしたくない。メディアで僕について語ってきたような人物がいる限り、もう終わりだ。ただ、将来的に新しい代表監督が就任するのかどうかは、誰にも分からない」
「僕自身は決して扉を閉めることはない。そして、オランダ代表のチームメイトたちを、彼らが僕を応援してくれているように、僕は応援するだけだ。移籍後、代表チームの仲間からは良いメッセージしか受け取っていない。みんなが、僕のことを喜んでくれた。それが僕の理想だ」
スポーツ的な理由以上に、金銭面の理由が大きい今回の移籍だが、それを批判できる理由は代表監督であろうともない。気に入らないのであれば、今後招集しなければ良いだけであり、公然と批判する必要はなかったと言えるだろう。一方で、ベルフワインは、呼びたくなる活躍を見せ続けるしかない。
