スペイン女子代表は11日、メリリャでアルゼンチン女子代表との国際親善試合を行い、7-0と圧勝した。

来年開催されるオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)で、なでしこジャパンと同組となっているスペイン。2年連続で女子バロンドールに輝いたアレクシア・プテジャスが負傷離脱中であるのに加え、選手のフィットネスをめぐる問題でホルヘ・ヴィルダ監督やスペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)と対立している。

今回もジェニファー・エルモソやマリア・ピラー・レオンら、これまで主軸を担っていた選手が未招集。若手や代表経験の浅い選手が中心となり、チームが編成されている。

それにも関わらず、10月の代表ウイークでは東京オリンピックの銀メダリストであるスウェーデン女子代表と引き分け、W杯2連覇中のアメリカ女子代表を下している。

アルゼンチン戦では先発・途中出場を含め、7人が代表デビューを飾ったが、そのうちの1人が8月のコスタリカU-20女子W杯決勝で、日本からも2ゴールを奪ったFWサルマ・パラジュエロ(バルセロナ)だ。そのうえ、デビュー戦でハットトリックという華々しい活躍を披露した。

2-0で迎えた36分、対角のロングボールをボックス手前左で収め、体勢を崩しながらも左足で初ゴールを挙げると、2分後には右からのクロスをファー仕上げて追加点。51分には足の長いスルーパスにダイアゴナルランで反応して背後を取り、GKも冷静にかわして3点目を奪ってみせた。

13日に19歳となったばかりのニューヒロインはRFEFに「シニアチームでデビューしたかったので、今日は私にとってとても特別な日で、とても幸せです」と残している。

プレッシングもポゼッションも機能したスペインは7点を奪って大勝。15日に対戦するなでしこジャパンにとっては、想像以上の難敵となりそうだ。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
