14日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)の準決勝でフランス代表はモロッコ代表と対戦。2大会連続の決勝進出を果たし、60年ぶりの連覇という偉業達成に近づいている。

悲願達成まであと1つまで迫っている中、フランスのエマニュエル・マクロン大統領が対戦相手であり、繋がりの深いモロッコ代表のドレッシングルームを試合後に訪れていたという。

フランスはここまでオウンゴールの1失点に抑えていたモロッコ相手に、テオ・エルナンデス、ランダル・コロ・ムアニのゴールで2-0と勝利。モロッコのペースに持ち込ませずにしっかりと勝利を収めた。

モロッコは、かつてフランス領であり、独立したのは1956年とわずか66年前のこと。そのため、両国には深い繋がりがある。

チームを率いるワリド・レグラギ監督は、フランスで生まれ、フランス国内でキャリアを積んでおり、フランス代表FWオリヴィエ・ジルーとはかつてチームメイトでもあった。

またフランスでプレーする代表選手も多い状況。そんな中、好ゲームをみせ、ここまでの躍進を見せてきたモロッコをマクロン大統領も称えたようだ。

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」

▽セビージャに所属するFWウィサム・ベン・イェデルがフランス人史上初のフットサルとサッカーの双方での代表選手となった。イギリス『101GREAT GOALS』が伝えた。 ▽先日にサッカーフランス代表に初招集されたイェデルは、23日に行われたコロンビア代表戦で後半に途中投入され、27歳で待望のレ・ブルーデビューを果たした。 ▽しかし、イェデルがレ・ブルーとしてプレーしたのはこれが初めてではなく、2010年にフットサルフランス代表として2試合に出場し1ゴールを記録していた。 ▽ブラジル代表FWネイマールや同MFフィリペ・コウチーニョなどを筆頭にブラジルなど南米では11人制のサッカーを始める前の幼少期にフットサルを通じて、足元の細かい技術などを習得するケースが多い。 ▽ただ、幼馴染であるレスター・シティのアルジェリア代表MFリヤド・マフレズ同様に10代の頃にフランス下部リーグでのプレーを余儀なくされたイェデルは、サッカー選手としてのキャリアに行き詰っていた時期にフットサルフランス代表としてプレー。その後、トゥールズ移籍をキッカケにブレイクを果たし、現在はセビージャで印象的なプレーを披露している。 ▽そのため、サッカー日本代表での輝かしいキャリアを残した後、2012年にフットサル日本代表としてFIFAフットサルワールドカップに参加した“キングカズ”ことFW三浦知良らとは異なる、稀有なケースといえるだろう。 2018.03.25 13:45 Sun
