フェンウェイ・スポーツ・グループ(FSG)によるリーグ・ドゥ(フランス2部)のボルドー買収は破談に終わった。
ボルドーは16日、「FCジロンダン・ボルドーとその株主は、フェンウェイ・スポーツ・グループから、クラブ買収を視野に入れた数週間前からの協議を続行しない決定を通知された」と、交渉破談を報告した。
さらに、「この決定の理由には、今後数年間のスタジアム建設費用の高騰と、フランスサッカー界の全般的な経済情勢が含まれる」と、その理由についても明かしている。
1881年に創設されたボルドーはフランスで2番目に歴史のあるクラブ。過去には、ジネディーヌ・ジダンやビセンテ・リザラズなどフランス代表で活躍した選手たちも所属した。
リーグ・アンでは6回優勝しており、2008-09シーズンが最後の優勝に。2021-22シーズンは最下位でリーグ・アンを終えると、リーグ・ドゥに降格していた。2023-24シーズンはアルベルト・リエラ監督が率いた中で、13位に終わっていた。
この決定に対し、ボルドーのジェラール・ロペス会長はすぐさま控訴。リバプールのオーナーであるFSGへの売却による資金調達を目指したが、その目論見は崩れた。
なお、クラブは「2024-25シーズンの資金調達計画」を確定するために、引き続き代替案を模索していくと述べている。

ベンフィカの伝説フェルナンド・シャラーナ氏が63歳で逝去…“小さな天才”と称されたアタッカー
ベンフィカのレジェンドである元ポルトガル代表MFのフェルナンド・シャラーナ氏(享年63)が逝去した。ベンフィカが10日、レジェンドの訃報を伝えた。 ベンフィカの下部組織出身で1970年代から1980年代に活躍したシャラーナ氏は、“ペケーニョ・ジェニアル(小さな天才)”との愛称で知られた左利きの小柄なアタッカー。 ベンフィカでは1974年から1984年、1987年から1990年の合計13年間の在籍期間に主力として活躍し、6度のプリメイラ・リーガ制覇を含め14個のタイトル獲得に貢献。個人としては1976年と1984年にポルトガルの年間最優秀選手賞も受賞していた。 また、ポルトガル代表として通算27キャップを刻んだシャラーナ氏は、1984年から1987年までプレーしたフランスのボルドー時代には負傷に悩まされて活躍の機会は限られたものの、2度のリーグ・アン優勝を経験していた。 現役引退後は古巣ベンフィカのアシスタントコーチや暫定指揮官、パソス・デ・フェレイラのコーチなどを歴任していた。 2022.08.10 21:23 Wed
