「素晴らしい気分」34歳フンメルスが2年ぶりのドイツ代表復帰に喜び! 新指揮官は経験値期待「今我々が求める要素」

ドルトムントのDFマッツ・フンメルス(34)がドイツ代表復帰を喜んだ。ドイツ『キッカー』が伝えている。

優勝した2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)で決勝戦を含む7試合中6試合に出場するなど、ここ十数年のドイツを代表するセンターバックであるフンメルス。守備能力のみならず美しいロングフィードも持ち味とする。

しかし、ブラジルW杯に引き続き主力として臨んだ2018年のロシアW杯で、ドイツ代表は史上初のグループステージ敗退という憂き目に。フンメルスは3年後のユーロ2020にも出場したが、これを最後に2年以上代表から遠ざかっていた。

今年12月で35歳を迎えるというなか、日本代表に敗れて解任されたハンジ・フリック前監督の後を継いだ36歳のユリアン・ナーゲルスマン新監督は、初陣に向けて1歳年下のフンメルスを招集。指揮官はその理由を「彼は経験が豊富。これこそ、今我々が求める要素だ」と語った。

フンメルスもインスタグラムのストーリーズを更新し、「これ(約2年ぶりの招集)は僕がピッチ上で物事を上手く運ぶために何をしているか、それが認められた証だと思う。本当に素晴らしい気分だ」と喜びを露わに。また、「多くの人が心から喜んでくれている反応も見れて嬉しい」と短いビデオメッセージの中でファンへの感謝を込めた。

DFアントニオ・リュディガー(レアル・マドリー)にDFニクラス・ジューレ(ドルトムント)、DFヨナタン・ター(レバークーゼン)。個々の能力に問題なくとも、今ひとつ統制が取れていなかったドイツ代表のセンターバック陣に、経験豊かな34歳が帰ってくる。

自国開催のユーロ2024を来夏に控えるドイツ代表は、今月のインターナショナル・マッチウィークで北中米遠征を実施。14日にアメリカ代表、17日にメキシコ代表とそれぞれ敵地で戦う。

「全くもってプロではなかった」浅野拓磨を見下した?リュディガーのステップをドイツ代表のレジェンドも問題視「相手を軽んじてはいけない」

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue

アディダスがノイアーの代表100キャップを記念した特別なキーパーグローブ「プレデター」をリリース!ラトビア戦で着用
