27日、2022年の『ザ・ベスト・FIFAフットボールアウォーズ(The Best)』が行われ、男子のFIFA FIFPro男子ワールドイレブンが発表された。世界中のプロサッカー選手だけが選出できるFIFA FIFPro男子ワールドイレブン。GK、DF、MF、FWで優秀と思う3選手ずつを選ぶことができる中、これまでと違った流れが起こった。
まず、最も大きなトピックスはポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(アル・ナスル)の不在だ。
2005年に国際プロサッカー選手会(FIFPro)が創設したもので、現在は「FIFA FIFPro男子ワールドイレブン」として残っているもの。2007年に初めて受賞してから15年連続で選出されていたが、今回はその記録が途絶えることに。一方で、同じ2007年に初受賞したアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシ(パリ・サンジェルマン/PSG)は16年連続での受賞となった。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「夜にマクドナルドで残り物のハンバーガーを…」今では考えられないC・ロナウドの少年時代を元ポルトガル代表の旧友が告白、当時は自分が上だったと明かす「私は小さなロナウジーニョだった」

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

54歳バティストゥータ氏がチャリティーマッチでゴール!4年前には左足首を人工関節に置換

AFA選定、アルゼンチン代表の歴代最強ベストイレブン
