元ドイツ代表監督のユルゲン・クリンスマン氏が、カタールW杯における欧州勢の苦戦を予想した。ドイツ『キッカー』が伝えている。

現役時代に3度、引退後はドイツ代表監督として1度、アメリカ代表監督として1度と、計5度ものW杯を経験したクリンスマン氏。今大会はFIFAのテクニカルスタッフとして、自身6度目のW杯に参加することが決まっている。

開幕を目前に控え、ドーハで行われたメディアレセプションに元日本代表監督アルベルト・ザッケローニ氏らとともに登壇。今大会は異例の冬開催となり、有力選手らのケガによる辞退続出も波紋を呼んだが、同氏はかえって新鮮味がある大会になるだろうと口にしている。
「ほぼ全選手が所属クラブでリーグ戦を戦い、その足でカタールまで来た。フィジカル的な準備は何ら必要ないし、一方では自らを限界まで追い込まなければならない状況とも言える。新鮮に感じるだろうし、ハングリーな気分にもなるはずだ」

欧州各国のリーグ戦がつい先日まで行われていたことにも触れ、とりわけ準備期間が少なかった欧州チームの監督は難しい舵取りが強いられるだろうと分析。その他の地域に躍進のチャンスが巡ってきていると語った。
「驚きに満ちたW杯となる可能性を秘めている。アフリカとアジアのチームは、勇敢さを発揮できれば上位進出が可能だ」

韓国代表の新監督候補にヘスス・カサス氏が浮上 日本撃破のイラク代表指揮官

29歳で引退した元W杯王者の転身が話題!ほぼ裸で雪山に登頂、自分の人生を見直すきっかけに

「生涯忘れられない思い出」アーセナル移籍のハヴァーツがチェルシーに感謝…一方、手紙での別れに苛立ち「このような形は腹立たしい」

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。 これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。 ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。 「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」 「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」 この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに
