イギリス『デイリー・メール』によると、そんな36歳の指揮官はイングランド代表MFジェシー・リンガード(29)、ジャマイカ代表MFラヴェル・モリソン(29)、元イングランド代表DFフィル・ジョーンズ(30)の獲得を考慮しているという。
リンガードは昨季をもってユナイテッドを去り、プレミアリーグやサウジアラビアのクラブからの関心が噂に。かつてユナイテッドで逸材と謳われたモリソンもルーニー監督のひと声で加入したダービーを退団してフリーとなっている。

C・ロナウドの母が息子への願望を語る「私が死ぬ前に、スポルティングへ」
