今年1月からアストン・ビラにレンタル移籍したコウチーニョ。バルセロナでは思うような活躍ができなかったが、リバプール時代の同僚であるスティーブン・ジェラード監督の下では主力としてプレーし、プレミアリーグ10試合で4ゴール3アシストと息を吹き返す。
今季終了までのレンタルで獲得したアストン・ビラは4000万ユーロ(約54億1000万円)の買取オプションを有しているが、コウチーニョは他の可能性も視野に。そのなか、ニューカッスルも代理人を通じて同選手の動向を聞き、加入時のボーナスも支払う意向も示しているという。
現状、アーセナルやエバートンも関心を抱くなか、アストン・ビラに優先権がある状況だが、コウチーニョとの契約を2023年夏まで残すバルセロナは満額が支払われないようなら、ニューカッスルに放出する可能性もある模様だ。

コウチーニョが14年ぶりに古巣ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマに加入!｢大好きなクラブに帰ってきた｣
ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマは10日、元ブラジル代表MFフィリペ・コウチーニョ(32)をレンタル移籍で獲得したことを発表した。 14年ぶりに母国への復帰が決まったコウチーニョは、公式サイトで以下のように喜びを語った。 ｢本当に幸せで、嬉しくて、待ち遠しい。長い間、離れて暮らしていたから、育った場所、大好きな街、大好きなクラブに帰ってきたという感じなんだ。僕がどれだけ幸せか、家族もみんな知っているし、みんな僕が戻ってくることを喜んでくれているんだ｣ ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマの下部組織で育ったコウチーニョは、2008年7月に弱冠16歳でインテルへ完全移籍。その後、2年間はヴァスコ・ダ・ガマでのプレーを続け、2010年10月に海を渡った。 その後はエスパニョールやリバプール、バルセロナ、バイエルン、アストン・ビラでプレー。リバプール時代の輝きは凄まじく、大きな期待が寄せられたものの、バルセロナでは大きく期待を裏切る形となってしまった。 2023-24シーズンはアストン・ビラからレンタル移籍でカタールのアル・ドゥハイルでプレー。カタール・スターズリーグでは16試合で3ゴール2アシスト、AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)では3試合で2ゴール1アシストを記録したが、クラブからの期待を上回れず、シーズン終了後にレンタルバックされていた。 2024.07.11 00:30 Thu
