オーストラリア『FOX Sports』が、日本代表戦の選手採点を実施。1人の選手に辛辣な評価を与えた。12日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア最終予選の第4戦の日本代表vsオーストラリア代表が埼玉スタジアム2002で行われた。

予選11連勝、最終予選でも3連勝を達成しているオーストラリアと、1勝2敗と出遅れた日本の対戦。すると8分にMF田中碧が先制ゴールを記録する。
後半にはMFアルディン・フルスティッチが直接FKを叩き込んで同点に追いつくが、86分にFW浅野拓磨が抜け出して放ったシュートが相手オウンゴールを誘発。日本は2-1で勝利した。

チームとしての連勝もストップし、ライバルでありながら調子の上がらない日本を叩きにきたオーストラリアだったが、不運もあり敗戦。最終予選を難しくしてしまう結果となった。
そのオーストラリア代表の選手たちに対して、『FOX Sports』が採点を実施。10点満点で行われた採点では、最高がGKマシュー・ライアンの「7」となり、失点以外のセーブが素晴らしかったと高い評価を得た。

また、直接FKを叩き込み、プレーヤー・オブ・ザ・マッチにも選ばれたMFアルディン・フルスティッチは「6」の評価。ボールロストがマイナス点とされながらも、「止められないFKをゴールに叩き込んだ」とゴールを評価。また、守備面も評価されていた。

そんな中、最低点を記録したのが、左サイドバックのDFアジズ・ベヒッチだった。

なんとその評価は「2.5」とダントツで低いもの。日本代表MF伊東純也に立ち上がりから何度も突破された他、先制点のシーンでは対応を誤り田中をフリーにさせてしまった他、2失点目もギリギリのプレーとはいえ、オウンゴールを与えたことが響いたようだ。

「急いで忘れたくなるゲームだろう。日本の前半の攻撃の多くは彼の左サイドからやってきて、彼は最初の10分間で3度酷く打ちのめされた。これには日本の最初のゴールに繋がる読み違えもあった」

「ベヒッチは最初から疲れていたように見えた。グラハム・アーノルドは、この試合のためにアメリカから移動する前、新型コロナウイルスの検査で陽性だった左サイドのDFブラッド・スミスの不在を残念に思うだろう」

「べヒッチとアーロン・ムーイはディフェンスのトランジションであらゆる種類の混乱に陥り、30分後にはフルバックは守備と攻撃の両方でチームメイトの動きに激怒していた。彼はパスを前ではなく、ライアンへ後ろに向けることが多かった」

「日本のウイングである伊東はずっと彼を悩ませた。60分が過ぎた頃、べヒッチは彼を引きずり倒してイエローカードを受けた。そして、敗北に繋がるオウンゴールで締めくくられた」

日本代表スタメン発表! ターンオーバーで中国戦は5名変更、伊東純也&中村敬斗のランスコンビや久保建英がスタメン【2026W杯アジア最終予選】

「LOVE冨安」“なでしこジャパンロンドン組”から日本代表DF冨安にアツいエール!「トミーモテモテ」「うらやましいぞ」

オーストラリアのプロサッカーリーグ(Aリーグ)を統括するオーストラリア・プロフェッショナル・リーグス(APL)が危機に陥っているようだ。 2005-06シーズンに産声を上げたオーストラリア初のプロサッカーリーグ・Aリーグ。08-09シーズンからはAリーグ・メン(男子)、Aリーグ・ウィメン(女子)となり、これらを統括する機構こそAPLだ。 そんなAPLだが、オーストラリア『シドニー・モーニング・ヘラルド』によると、匿名の関係筋の話として、内部に深刻な財務懸念が広がっており、従業員80人余りのうち、半数近くが今週中に解雇されるか、またはすでに解雇を言い渡されている可能性があるとのことだ。 また、オーストラリア『news.com.au』によると、APLは取材に対して各事業部門の統合を目的とした大規模リストラを認めたとのこと。およそ4000万オーストラリアドル(約38億7000万円)の予算が組まれているデジタルコンテンツ部門は廃止されるとみられている。 Aリーグ・コミッショナーのニック・ガルシア氏は非公式声明で「Aリーグの観客動員の少なさは積年の課題」とし、「事業部門の統合によって組織の効率を上げねばならない」と語っている。 2023-24シーズンのAリーグ・メンは、ここまで全12チームが第12節まで消化しているなか、ホームゲームの平均観客動員数が最も多いのはシドニーFCで「1万4097人」。首位を走るウェリントン・フェニックス(※1)は「6624人」、最少はウェスタン・ユナイテッドFCで「3211人」となっている。 (※1)隣国ニュージーランドから越境参加のクラブ 元々、AリーグはAPLとオーストラリアサッカー連盟(FFA)が共同運営してきたものの、現在はAPLが単独で運営。APLに引き続き運営を任せるか、FFA管轄に移行するか、男女全クラブのオーナー間でも意見が分かれているという。 しかし、FFA側は国内トップリーグの運営権を取り戻すことに「興味がない」とされており、今後もオーストラリアの国内サッカーは混乱が続く可能性があるようだ。 ◆Aリーグ・メン全12クラブのホームゲーム平均観客動員数 (23-24シーズン/第12節まで) 1.シドニーFC 1万4097人 2.メルボルン・ビクトリー 1万3860人 3.アデレード・ユナイテッド 1万0492人 4.ウェスタン・シドニー・ワンダラーズ 9956人 5.メルボルン・シティFC 9476人 6.ブリスベン・ロアーFC 7392人 7.セントラルコースト・マリナーズ 7337人 8.ウェリントン・フェニックス 6624人 9.ニューカッスル・ユナイテッド・ジェッツ 5492人 10.パース・グローリー 5305人 11.マッカーサーFC 3297人 12.ウェスタン・ユナイテッドFC 3211人 2024.01.17 13:48 Wed

財務危機のオーストラリア・Aリーグだが…最速で25-26シーズンから男子2部リーグ制導入の動き変わらず

財務問題が噴出したオーストラリアのAリーグだが、男子2部リーグ創設の動きは変わらないようだ。オーストラリア『news.com.au』が伝えている。 オーストラリアサッカー界の男女ともにトップディビジョンであるAリーグを巡っては、16日以降、複数の同国メディアが管轄であるオーストラリア・プロフェッショナル・リーグス(APL)の財務問題を報じ、従業員の大規模リストラを軸とした事業再編の動きが確認されている。 また、Aリーグ・コミッショナーも「Aリーグの観客動員数低迷」を主な要因とするAPLのデジタル部門廃止・リストラに向けた動きを認めたなか、Aリーグ創設当初にAPLとともにリーグ運営を行ってきたフットボール・オーストラリア(FFA/サッカー連盟)は、再び運営参加することに消極的であることも判明している。 しかし、FFAはAリーグの商業面、すなわち“運営”にこそ関与していないものの、オーストラリアのサッカー連盟としてリーグを“監督する立場”であることは言わずもがな。選手・役員登録や移籍システムなどはFFAを通して行われる。 かねてより進行してきたAリーグ・メン(男子)の2部リーグ制導入も、APLではなくFFAが主導で取り組んでおり、『news.com.au』によると、APLの財務問題に関わらず、最速で2025-26シーズンから2部リーグを創設する取り組みは続いていくという。 すでに同国で人口が集中する南東部のシドニー、メルボルンを中心に、8クラブの将来的な2部リーグ参入が認められており、さらに最大4クラブの参入が認められる可能性も。そうなると、今季のAリーグ・メンと同じく12チーム編成(※1)ということになる。 (※1)2024-25シーズンより首都キャンベラ、オークランド(ニュージーランド/越境参加)から2クラブが新規参入予定で14チーム編成に なお、現在はAリーグ・メンが唯一のプロリーグで、2部リーグに相当するのは各州(全8州)の最上位リーグであるナショナル・プレミアリーグ(NPL)。こちらはFFA管轄のセミプロリーグとなっており、現状Aリーグ・メンへの昇格制度はない。 ◆2部リーグ参入予定の8クラブ アピア・ライカート(シドニー) マルコーニ・スタリオンズ(シドニー) シドニー・オリンピックFC(シドニー) シドニー・ユナイテッド58(シドニー) サウス・メルボルン(メルボルン) エイボンデールFC(メルボルン) プレストン・ライオンズ(メルボルン) ウーロンゴン・ウルブズ(ウーロンゴン) 2024.01.17 21:05 Wed

アジア杯落選で心境に変化? Aリーグ歴代最多得点者・豪代表FWマクラーレンが今季限りでメルボルンを退団か

メルボルン・シティのオーストラリア代表FWジェイミー・マクラーレン(30)。キャリアの分かれ道に立っているようだ。オーストラリア『news.com.au』が伝えている。 ドイツ・スコットランドでのプレー経験も持つマクラーレン。オーストラリア国内ではパース・グローリー、ブリスベン・ロアー、そしてメルボルンで通算163得点を叩き出しており、Aリーグ通算146得点(205試合)は歴代最多。そう、正真正銘、Aリーグ史上最強のゴールハンターだ。 また、メルボルンでは4シーズン連続Aリーグ得点王を達成し、ブリスベン時代を含めると通算5回。2019年1月加入のメルボルンでその地位を確立させるとA代表にも定着し、これまで30キャップで8得点、ワールドカップ(W杯)にはロシア大会、カタール大会と2度出場する。 しかし、2023-24シーズン前半戦は今ひとつ調子が上がらず、AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)ではグループステージ6試合で1得点。メルボルンはヴァンフォーレ甲府に次ぐ2位となり、決勝トーナメント進出を逃すこととなった。 国内でもなかなかネットを揺らせない日々が続くと、A代表を率いるグラハム・アーノルド監督は、アジアカップメンバー26名にマクラーレンを選ばず…昨年11月のW杯アジア2次予選グループ第1節・バングラデシュ代表戦でハットトリックを達成していたなか、コンディションが万全ではなかったとはいえ、まさかの落選となった。 そんなマクラーレン、30歳というタイミングでのアジア杯落選に考えるところが多かったのか、生まれ故郷のクラブであり、主将も担うメルボルンとの契約延長に消極的に。契約が今年6月までというなか、本人は否定するが、年が明けて延長オファーに断りを入れたと報じられている。 「メルボルンとの交渉はまだ続いているよ。でも今のところ、合意も決裂も何もない。僕がメルボルンに残るか否かに関わらず、来季のチームには多くの変化が起こるだろう。契約が切れる選手は僕だけじゃないよ」 今季低調とはいえ、トップフォームであればFC町田ゼルビア所属FWミッチェル・デュークとオーストラリア代表の1トップを争うマクラーレン。頭の片隅に「新天地行き」があるであろう男の年俸は100万オーストラリアドル(約9700万円)を超えるくらい、とされている。 2024.01.25 17:30 Thu
