元ブラジル代表DFのロベルト・カルロス氏がチェルシーのイタリア代表MFジョルジーニョを称賛した。『フットボール・イタリア』が伝えている。

ジョルジーニョは昨シーズン序盤こそ低調なパフォーマンスも見られたが、チェルシーの指揮官がフランク・ランパード氏からトーマス・トゥヘル監督に代わると本領発揮。卓越したゲームメイク能力で、チームのチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)優勝に多大な貢献を果たした。

さらに、ジョルジーニョはイタリア代表として6月に開幕したユーロ2020に参加すると、決勝までの全試合に先発出場。欠かせない戦力として、イタリアの53年ぶり2度目のユーロ優勝を成し遂げている。
イタリア『La Repubblica』のインタビューに応じたロベルト・カルロス氏は、イタリアを称える中でブラジル出身であるジョルジーニョも絶賛。チェルシーは同選手の銅像を建てても良いと語った。

「ロベルト・マンチーニのチームが勝利した理由は、ポジティブなフットボールやチームとしてのまとまりだけではない。彼らは正しいメンタリティを持っていた。パスの名手であるスペインやフィジカルの強いイングランドを追い越すには、それしかなかっただろう。イタリアは大会期間中に成長した。タイトルにふさわしいチームだと思う」
「ブラジルも例外ではないが、どのトップチームであってもジョルジーニョがいないと物足りなく見える。彼はテクニック、ビジョン、そして冷静さを兼ね備えている選手だ。常に最善の行動をとることができている」

「加えて、彼はボールを奪い返すことにも長けており、そのポジショニングには驚かされるよ。ジョルジーニョはイタリアにとってもチェルシーにとっても、決定的な存在だったと思う。ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)やCL優勝に貢献した彼の銅像を、チェルシーファンは建てるべきだね」

また、ロベルト・カルロス氏はインタビューのなかで、2022年に開催されるカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)において、欧州ならどこが優勝候補であるか言及。前回王者のフランス代表と、ユーロ王者になったイタリアの名を挙げている。

「イタリアだけでなく、フランスも優勝候補だと思う。もちろん、ベルギーやドイツも言いたいことはあるだろう。それでもディディエ・デシャン監督のチームは、技術的にも野心的にも、より完成度の高いチームだ」

「スペインについては、過去10年間のレベルに到達するには時間がかかるだろうね。才能ある選手はいると思うが、シャビやアンドレス・イニエスタのような選手は見られない」

超豪華! W杯でも共演したブラジルのレジェンド4人がスタンドに勢揃い、その後ろの人物にも注目集まる

自宅は海上に? チェルシーを手放してもうすぐ3年…ロシア人実業家アブラモビッチ氏の近況は

アザールが11年ぶりにあの“ボールボーイ”と再会…問題児は現在高級ウォッカブランド経営の大富豪

チェルシーがブラジル新たな宝石“メッシーニョ”を完全移籍で獲得!2025年夏にチェルシー加入予定

チェルシーは22日、パウメイラスに所属するU-17ブラジル代表FWエステヴォン・ウィリアン(17)を完全移籍で獲得することで合意に至ったと発表した。 2007年4月24日生まれのエステヴォンは、18歳の誕生日後に国際移籍が可能となるため、正式な加入は2025-26シーズンとなるとのことだ。 ブラジル人サッカー選手史上最年少となる10歳でナイキと契約した左利きのFWは、クルゼイロのU-17から2021年5月にパウメイラスのU-17に加入。U-15、U-17のパウリスタ州選手権で王者となり、U-17コパ・ド・ブラジルの優勝にも貢献。左利きの右ウインガーで34試合で23ゴールを決めていた。 “メッシーニョ(リオネル・メッシとロナウジーニョから取られた愛称)”とも呼ばれているエステヴォンは、15歳ながらもU-20でのプレーが許可されると、そこでも違いを見せることに。16歳の誕生日を迎え、パウメイラスとプロ契約を結ぶと、2023シーズンの最終節でデビュー。これまでトップチームでは公式戦22試合に出場し4ゴール3アシストを記録している。 レアル・マドリード加入が内定しているパルメイラスのFWエンドリッキやウェストハム移籍の決まった同クラブのMFルイス・ギリェルメと共に注目を集める“宝石”には、マンチェスター・シティやアーセナル、バイエルン、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)ら欧州のビッグクラブから関心を寄せられていた。 なお移籍金に関して、イギリス『BBC』は2900万ポンド(58億6200万円)+出来高ボーナスと明かしている。 2024.06.23 06:45 Sun
