ドイツ代表は現地時間13日に行われたUEFAネーションズ・リーグでライバルのオランダ代表に0-3と大敗。MFヨシュア・キミッヒはチームの現状に関して危機感を示した。

ロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)でまさかのグループステージ敗退を喫した前世界王者のドイツだが、大会後の公式戦では先月現世界王者フランスとは0-0で引き分けると、W杯不出場のオランダに同国相手における史上最多点差での敗北を献上。2014年W杯・優勝者組のDFマッツ・フンメルスやGKマヌエル・ノイアー、MFトニ・クロースらはそれでも試合後、内容では必ずしも劣っていなかったと主張したことで、ドイツ国内では批判の声が高まっている。

その一方で、ボランチとしてフル出場を果たしたキミッヒは試合の流れについて「バイエルンでの状況に少し似ているかもしれない」と指摘し、次のように続けた。

「僕たちは割と上手く試合に入り込み、2～3の良い好機もつくり出せていた。しかし、セットプレーから0-1とされてしまっている。後半は試合をある程度コントロールできていたが、終盤にはさらにゴールを奪われ、0-3で敗れた」

「ここで自分たちのパフォーマンスを美化するといった過ちを犯してはいけない。いつもこんな形で敗れてしまえば、それはもう偶然とは呼べないだろう。1つのポイントはチャンスを決め切れていないこと。もう1つは、ミスを犯していることだ」

キミッヒはまたドイツ誌『キッカー』のインタビューでは、「チームが抱えている問題は深刻であり、1日で解決できるものではない」とも強調。16日に行われるフランスとの再戦の結果次第で解任される可能性もあるヨアヒム・レーブ監督がベテラン組を重宝し続けることに関しては「基本、監督が決めること。全員このチームでプレーするだけのクオリティーを持っている」とし、批判の言葉は口にしなかった。

元バルサGKブラーボ、テア=シュテーゲンとの定位置争いを回想 「共存不可と断定されたが…」

マテウスが5度目の離婚…結婚時は「最後の妻になることを願う」と語るも叶わず

ドイツの18歳至宝ヴィルツに悲劇…左ヒザACL断裂で長期離脱へ

ドイツ代表に激震、77年続いたアディダスとの契約終了…2027年からはナイキに
