「ハシの状況にはイライラしている」英2部で戦う橋岡大樹、プレシーズンマッチでふくらはぎ負傷…指揮官も不満「様子を見なければ」

鎌田大地が初ゴール&初アシストのパレスが公式戦初勝利! 三笘温存ブライトンや坂元達裕&斉藤光毅も3回戦進出【EFLカップ】

プレミア初昇格のルートン・タウン、1905年から使用のホーム初戦の開催断念…改修は順調も遅延なしの可能性を「絶対に保証することはできない」
クラブ史上初のプレミアリーグ昇格を決めたルートン・タウンだが、懸念されていたスタジアム問題に直面する結果となった。 2022-23シーズンのプレミアリーグ昇格プレーオフ決勝では、コベントリー・シティとの対戦でPK戦を制して昇格を決めたルートン・タウン。クラブ史上初となるプレミアリーグ昇格はビッグニュースとなった。 しかし、本拠地であるケニルワース・ロードには問題が。1905年からルートン・タウンの本拠地として使用されているケニルワース・ロードだが、プレミアリーグの基準を満たしていない状況。収容人数は1万356人であり、最低要件である5000人は上回っている状況だが、テレビ中継のための施設などが満たされていないという。 そのため、新たなスタンドを建設しており、予定より早く作業は進んでいるとのこと。しかし、プレミアリーグの開幕には間に合わせられる保証ができないことから、初のホームゲームの延期を発表した。 ルートン・タウンはクラブを通じて「プロジェクトの規模により、クラブはサポーターに対し、将来の予期せぬ問題によって遅延が生じ、ホームで予定されている開幕戦に影響を及ぼす可能性がないことを絶対に保証することはできない」と声明。早い段階で決断することで、しっかりと予定を組めると判断したとした。 プレミアリーグの開幕戦では日本代表MF三笘薫が所属するブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンとのアウェイゲームを戦うが、19日にバーンリーをホームに迎えて初のプレミアリーグを戦う予定だった。 なお、クラブは2019年に新スタジアムの建設計画で許可をもらっており、2026年に完成予定。ただ、それまでにプレミアリーグの要件を満たすため、1000万ポンド(約17億4700万円)規模の改修工事を進めている。 2023.07.15 10:40 Sat

オナイウ所属の昇格組オセール、ルートンからDFオショを完全移籍で獲得
オナイウ阿道が在籍する昇格組オセールは11日、ルートン・タウンからナイジェリア人DFガブリエル・オショ(25)を完全移籍で獲得した。契約期間は2025年6月30日までで、2年間の延長オプションが付随している。 イングランドのレディング出身のオショは、2008年にレディングの下部組織に入団。順調にステップアップを重ねると、2016年7がツにプロ契約を締結。 しかし、その後はメイデンヘッド・ユナイテッドやブリストルなど国内クラブへレンタル移籍を繰り返すと、2020年の夏にレディングを退団し、同年11月にチャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部相当)のルートンに加入。 4年間在籍したルートンでは、センターバックとして公式戦85試合に出場し5ゴールを記録。しかし、2023-24シーズンはヒザのケガで2度の離脱を強いられ、プレミアリーグで21試合の出場にとどまっていた。 今年3月にはナイジェリア代表に初招集されたが、ケガの影響で出場機会はなかった。 2024.07.12 00:10 Fri
