昨季王者の三菱重工浦和レッズレディースは、ホームでちふれASエルフェン埼玉を2-1で下した。

AFC Women's Club Championship 2023 – Invitational Tournament(AWCC)に参加していたため、今節が初戦となった浦和。序盤の決定機こそ生かせなかったが、こぼれ球を拾った猶本光が右足での強烈な一撃を叩き込み、52分に均衡を破る。
EL埼玉は失点直後の55分、清家貴子に背後を突かれると、対応した大沼歩加がボックス手前で倒してしまう。これが決定的な得点機会の阻止とみなされ、大沼にはレットカードが提示。数的不利に陥った。

それでもEL埼玉は劣勢の時間を耐え抜き、77分に同点弾を奪取。松久保明梨がゴール前に放り込むと、浦和のクリアが中途半端となり、最後は瀬野有希が2試合連続となる一振りを沈める。
難しい展開を強いられた浦和だったが、地力を見せて83分に勝ち越し。途中出場・塩越柚歩のラストパスから遠藤優がネットを揺らして勝負あり。"さいたまダービー"を制し、リーグ連覇へ向けて白星スタートを切った。

また、試合後には運動誘発性不整脈のために第一線を退くと先日発表された、一法師央佳の引退セレモニーも行われた。

今季のWEリーグカップを制したサンフレッチェ広島レジーナも、今節がリーグ戦の初陣に。AC長野パルセイロ・レディースとの敵地戦に臨んだが、前半はAC長野の対策にも苦しみ、記録上はシュート0に終わるなど、0-1で敗れた。

AC長野はセンターバックが主戦場の岩下胡桃を右サイドバックに、奥津礼菜を一列前で起用する"中嶋淑乃対策"を決行。開幕節の敗戦を糧に序盤から勢いを持って臨むと、終盤にハードワークが実る。

80分、ロスト後もすぐさまプレスに転じ、川船暁海が藤生菜摘から高い位置で奪ってそのまま上げ切ると、伊藤めぐみが頭で合わせてネットを揺らす。キャプテンが2試合連続ゴールを記録したAC長野はこのまま逃げ切り、今季初勝利を飾っている。

◆I神戸、東京NB、大宮Vが開幕2連勝!
開幕節で勝利したINAC神戸レオネッサ、日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザ、大宮アルディージャVENTUSはいずれも勝利し、連勝を飾った。

マイナビ仙台レディースと対戦したI神戸は、14分に田中美南が前節同様、裏抜けから冷静な先制弾。35分には田中の折り返しから山本摩也が鮮やかなボレーを決め、WEリーグ初ゴールをマークする。

後半は押し込まれる時間もあったが、GK山下杏也加が好守を披露。87分には愛川陽菜がダメ押しとなるヘディング弾を沈め、3-0で白星を手にした。

東京NBはアウェイでジェフユナイテッド市原・千葉レディースと対戦。9分、ハイプレスでGK清水栞のパスミスを誘発し、山本柚月が早々に試合を動かすと、23分には藤野あおばの粘りから柏村菜那がWE初得点を挙げる。折り返して早々の47分には再び山本がゴールを奪うと、千葉Lの反撃を1点にとどめ、2試合連続の3-1で連勝を飾った。

大宮Vはセレッソ大阪ヤンマーレディースをホームに迎え、劣勢の前半から修正を施して後半は主導権を奪い返す。すると、両者無得点で迎えた90+4分、途中出場の大島暖菜が値千金の今季初ゴールをマーク。CKの二次攻撃から有吉佐織のクロスに右足で合わせ、ホームでの劇的勝利を導いている。

初W杯でゴールの猶本光、ベスト8を悔しがるもチームには自信「応援してもらえるようなチームになれた」
