ギュンドアンも敗戦に失望「起こってはいけないこと」、2失点も悔やむ

ドイツ代表のMFイルカイ・ギュンドアンが、北マケドニア代表戦の敗戦を振り返った。ドイツサッカー連盟が伝えた。

ドイツ代表は3月31日、カタール・ワールドカップ欧州予選グループJ第3節で北マケドニア代表とのホーム戦に臨んだ。

3月25日に行われたアイスランド代表戦は3-0、同28日に行われたルーマニア代表戦でも1-0と勝利して2連勝スタートとしたドイツ。しかし、この試合では序盤からパフォーマンスが悪く、なかなかチャンスを作れない。

すると前半アディショナルタイムにゴラン・パンデフに先制を許し、1点ビハインドで後半へ。63分にギュンドアンがPKを決めて同点とするも、その後もパフォーマンスが上がらないと、85分にエリフ・エルマスに勝ち越しゴールを許す。

結局これが決勝点となり、1-2で敗戦。北マケドニアに金星を与えることとなった。

試合後ギュンドアンは敗戦を受けて「これは起こってはいけないことだ」とコメント。「北マケドニアは2つの門をゴール前に立てていたように感じた」と相手の堅い守備を語った。

「それからは簡単すぎた。チャンスを作ろうとしたが、1点しか取ることができなかった」

プレミアリーグ、ラマダン期間の開催試合で“飲水・栄養摂取タイム”の導入か

プレミアリーグは、ラマダン期間中に開催される試合に関して、選手、スタッフの健康状態への配慮からクーリングブレイクのような一時中断を計画しているようだ。今月22日から4月21日までムスリム(イスラム教徒)の間では、ラマダンが実施される。イスラム暦で9月を意味するラマダンは、ムスリムにとって“聖なる月”とされており、自制と規律が求められるこの期間にムスリムは夜明けから日暮れまでの間、一切飲食物を口にすることができない。そして、フットボール界においても多くの敬虔なムスリムはサウムの期間にその教えを忠実に守り、たとえトレーニング中や試合中においても飲食物を口にすることはない。この期間におけるコンディション調整を熟知しているベテラン選手はさほど気を遣ったサポートは必要ないが、基礎代謝が高く同期間における経験値が少ない若手選手にとってはパフォーマンスに大きな影響を及ぼすものとなる。プレミアリーグではチェルシーのMFエンゴロ・カンテ、リバプールのFWモハメド・サラー、マンチェスター・シティのMFイルカイ・ギュンドアンといったスター選手を初め、多くの選手がその制限を受ける形となっている。そういった中、近年多様性への理解が進むフットボール界において、イングランドのプレミアリーグとフットボールリーグ(EFL)は、クーリングブレイクのような形で選手、スタッフに日没後に飲水、栄養補給を行うための一時的な試合中断を検討しているという。『ESPN』によると、各リーグ管理者と審判協会のPGMOLは、ラマダン期間にクラブがチームシートを交換する際、影響を受ける選手やスタッフがいるかどうかを調査するよう当局に通知したという。そして、断食中の選手、クラブスタッフ、試合関係者がピッチサイドで、飲水やエネルギーサプリメントを摂取できるように、自然な形でのプレーの停止を実施する見込みだ。これまでイスラム圏のリーグ戦では試合開始時間、同様のブレイクを採り入れていたが、ヨーロッパでは各試合において審判団の裁量で試合を一時的にストップする配慮がなされていたが、リーグ全体での決定となれば、画期的な試みとなるはずだ。 2023.03.22 23:32 Wed

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue
