11日に国際親善試合としてスペイン国内で日本と対するイングランド。母国での女子欧州選手権(ユーロ)2022を制し、現在最も勢いのあると言われているライオネセスは、トレーニング風景からもリラックスした様子が感じられる。9日にはレクリエーションの一環としてヘディングテニスを行った。

だが、ここでアクシデントが発生。チェルシー男子のMFリース・ジェームズの妹、FWローレン・ジェームズがつんのめるよう恰好で、ネットに引っかかってしまい、周囲の笑いを誘うこととなった。

公式ツイッターはこの様子を「立ち往生しているローレン・ジェームズをミリー・ブライトとジェス・パークが笑う」と紹介。特にブライトのリアクションは反響が大きく、「顔がすべて」、「ミリーは最高」、「メディーック!!!」、「カオス過ぎる」、「VARを見る必要があった」など、歴戦のセンターバックに温かな眼差しが向けられている。

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー
