ユベントスとアストン・ビラが中盤2選手のトレード交渉中か?

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 次回W杯の主役に?アメリカ代表を選んだバログン、自身と家族の強い願いを実現「みんなが思っている以上に多くの意味がある」

アメリカ代表を選択したスタッド・ランスのFWフォラリン・バログンが、その経緯を明かした。アメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)が伝えた。 アーセナルの下部組織出身のバログンは、2022年1月にミドルズブラにレンタル移籍。2022年8月にスタッド・ランスにレンタル移籍した。 今シーズンのリーグ・アンでは34試合に出場し19ゴールの活躍を見せ、来シーズンの去就が大きく注目されることに。アーセナルに復帰するのか、他クラブへ移籍するのか、今夏の移籍市場を賑わす存在となっている。 そのバログンは、16日にイングランドからアメリカへの代表チーム選択の変更を申請。国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)から承認され、今後はアメリカ代表としてプレーが可能になった。 世代別代表では1度アメリカ代表のユニフォームを身に纏っていたが、それ以外はイングランド代表を選択。U-21欧州選手権に出場する可能性もあった。 アメリカを選択したバログンは、その理由について言及。家族揃って望んでいたことだと明かした。 「アメリカを代表するという僕の決断は家族と一緒に決めた。僕たちは生まれた国を代表することが、僕にとって正しいことであると判断した」 「最終的には考えるまでもないことだったけど、確かにこれは僕が望んでいたことであり、ここにいるとまるで家にいる気分なんだ」 「家族にこのニュースを伝えた時、みんな、特に母親は大喜びだった。『何にそんなに時間がかかったの?』と聞かれたので、僕たちは同じ認識だったみたいだ」 「そしてその会話の後、僕は代理人にメッセージを送り、『実現させよう』と言ったんだ」 バログンはニューヨーク出身。ナイジェリア人の両親の元に生まれ、アメリカ、ナイジェリア、イングランドの3カ国でプレーすることが可能だった。 その中でアメリカ代表を選択した理由は大きいとし、全てを捧げると意気込みを語った。 「アメリカを代表することは、みんなが思っている以上に多くの意味がある。このような機会をもらえたことをとても誇りに思い、光栄に思っている。チームに成功をもたらすため、自分の持つ力を全て出し切りたいと思う」 また、2026年のW杯はアメリカでも開催。このまま招集を受けて主軸となれば、自身初のW杯出場を自国で迎えることとなる。 「実現するのであれば、あまりにも出来過ぎだね。アメリカでワールドカップが開催されることも本当にクレイジーだけど、開催国になって初めてワールドカップに出られるなら、全てが上手く纏まりすぎだ。でも、いくつかのことは、そうなるように意図されている」 2023.05.18 15:45 Thu

女子サッカーの伝説ワンバック、マリファナとコカインの使用を認める

▽サッカーのアメリカ女子代表として長年活躍していたアビー・ワンバック氏(35)が、過去にマリファナとコカインを使用していたことを認めたようだ。アメリカ『TMZ』が伝えた。 ▽ワンバック氏は現地時間の2日にアメリカのオレゴン州ポートランドで赤信号を無視して走行し、警察に車両を止められた。その際の検査でアルコールが検出されたため、飲酒運転の罪で逮捕されていたことが報じられていた。 ▽そして現地時間5日、『TMZ』は裁判所に提出した調書を入手したとのことで、ワンバック氏は医師に対して、過去にコカインとマリファナを使用したことを認めたとのことだ。マリファナを初めて使用したのは24歳で、コカインの使用は25歳だったと伝えられている。 ▽女子代表の世界最多得点記録を保持しているワンバック氏は、当時23歳だった2003年にアメリカ代表デビューを果たし、通算255試合184ゴールをマーク。母国の五輪制覇やワールドカップ優勝に貢献した。また、2012年にはFIFA最優秀選手賞を獲得している。2015年10月に現役を引退していた。 2016.04.06 15:19 Wed
