かつてアストン・ビラやニューカッスルを指揮した元イングランド代表DFのスティーブ・ブルース氏(63)が、韓国代表監督就任に関心を示しているようだ。
ただし、ブルース氏に対してはサウジアラビアの複数クラブからも関心がある様子。現役時代にマンチェスター・ユナイテッドで名を馳せた同氏は、今後数週間の間に去就の決断を下す予定と報じられている。
ブルース氏は1999年に現役引退を表明すると、その後はシェフィールド・ユナイテッド、ハダースフィールド・タウン、ウィガン・アスレティック、クリスタル・パレス、バーミンガム・シティ、サンダーランド、ハル・シティ、ビラ、シェフィールド・ウェンズデイ、ニューカッスルなど数多くのクラブで指揮。しかし、2022年2月に就任したWBAを成績不振で同年10月に解任されてからは、フリーの状態が続いていた。

「BTSにいそう」韓国代表の“アイドル級イケメン”に脚光「神は二物を与えた」

元チェルシーの10番で韓国女子代表のエース、チ・ソヨンがNWSLのシアトル・レインFCへ加入
