チェルシーのエンツォ・マレスカ監督は、負傷者の多くが復帰に向かっていることを明かした。イギリス『イブニング・スタンダード』が伝えている。
今シーズンは波の激しいシーズンを送っているチェルシー。昨年12月にはプレミアリーグで2位につけるなど好調を維持していたが、年末に突入したあたりから失速しはじめ、現在は5位とし烈なトップ4争いに巻き込まれている。
失速の原因の一つとなったのが、多くのケガ人の存在。特に守備陣は負傷者が顕著であり、チームは今冬の移籍市場でクリスタル・パレスへレンタル移籍させていたDFトレヴォ・チャロバーを呼び戻さざるを得ない事態となっていた。
厳しい状況に陥っていたチェルシーだが、ようやく光が差してきた模様。長期離脱中だったDFヴェスレイ・フォファナとDFブノワ・バディアシルはすでにフルトレーニングに合流しており、実戦復帰が間近の状態となっている。
マレスカ監督も、2人の復帰が近いことを示唆。また、同じく離脱中だったMFロメオ・ラヴィア、FWニコラス・ジャクソン、FWマルク・ギウ、MFノニ・マドゥエケらについても、3月のインターナショナルマッチウィーク明けには復帰できると明らかにしている。

168億円で獲得も鳴かず飛ばず…チェルシーが1月にムドリク放出を検討か

新SD就任のユナイテッド、今夏の補強に向けた助っ人も…ライプツィヒやチェルシーでTD務めたヴィヴェル氏と短期契約へ
マンチェスター・ユナイテッドが首脳陣の陣容を固めている。『The Athletic』が報じた。 ジム・ラトクリフ新共同オーナーの下、チームだけでなくクラブ全体のテコ入れを図っているユナイテッド。1日には、ニューカッスルとの交渉が難航していたダン・アシュワース氏のスポーツ・ディレクター(SD)就任を発表した。 ここに加わると見られるのが、以前チェルシーでテクニカル・ディレクター(TD)を務めていたクリストファー・ヴィヴェル氏(37)。今夏の移籍市場における助っ人として、ひとまず短期間の契約を結ぶという。 ヴィヴェル氏はタレントの発掘や選手のリクルートに関する専門知識を提供。また、複数クラブをモデルとした運営知識を持ち込むことも期待されている。 かつてはホッフェンハイムでスカウトや分析官を務め、2015年11月からはRBライプツィヒのTDとして、全年齢層を対象としたリクルートやスカウティングを担当。レッドブル社のサッカー部門全体のチーム作りと人材採用も担っていた。 チェルシーのTDには2022年12月に就任。2022年5月からオーナーとなったトッド・ベーリー氏に代わり業務をこなしていたが、わずか半年余りの2023年7月に袂を分かっていた。 2024.07.02 22:27 Tue
