セルティックは30日、セルティック・パークで行われたスコティッシュ・プレミアシップ第14節でロス・カウンティと対戦し、5-0で圧勝した。

FW前田大然の鮮烈な同点ゴールによってチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のクラブ・ブルージュ戦を1-1のドローで終えたセルティック。これで公式戦連勝が「6」でストップしたなか、8位のロス・カウンティとのホームゲームで白星奪還を狙った。

この試合では前田が引き続きスタメンに入った一方、FW古橋亨梧、MF旗手怜央はベンチスタートとなった。
立ち上がりからボールの主導権を握ったセルティックは、開始10分に先制点を奪う。マッコーワンの右CKをゴール前のスケールズが打点の高いヘディングで合わせた。

幸先よくリードを手にしたホームチームは引き続き相手を自陣深くに押し込むと、幾つかのチャンスを経た27分にスケールズの浮き球パスに抜け出したマッコーワンがボックス左から意表を突くタイミングで見事な左足シュートをゴール右隅へ突き刺す。
さらに、畳みかけると、35分には左でポケットを取った前田の折り返しを起点にベルナルドがゴール前での2度目のシュートを決めて3点目を奪取。36分と40分にはいずれもボックス手前中央でマッコーワンから短いパスを受けたマクレガー、イアダーが鋭いミドルシュートを続けて突き刺し、瞬く間にリードを5点に広げた。

左ウイングに入った前田はゴールやアシストこそないものの、再三の鋭い仕掛けやポケットの侵入に加え、持ち味の守備でチャンスを創出。ハーフタイムにはお役御免でベンチへ下がり、ヤン・ヒョンジュンが投入された。

前半で勝利を決定づけたホームチームは後半は省エネモードでプレー。それでも、アピールしたい控え選手が貪欲にゴールを目指していった。

その後、ロジャーズ監督は主力をベンチに下げつつ、70分には旗手をピッチに送り出す。試合終盤には幾つか決定機も作ったホームチームだったが、試合はこのままタイムアップ。前半の5ゴールで格下相手に完勝のセルティックがリーグ戦5連勝を達成した。

「知らなかったからビックリした」セルティック加入井手口陽介の上半身タトゥーに驚きの声

「知らなかったからビックリした」セルティック加入井手口陽介の上半身タトゥーに驚きの声

ルーニーが圧巻FK弾でOT沸かす! ユナイテッドvsセルティックのレジェンズマッチ開催

サラサラヘアからゆるめパーマに!セルティック古橋亨梧の変貌に英メディアまで反応!「見違える」
