しかし、昨季はケガでほぼ全休。そんなカルルに対し、イタリア『カルチョメルカート』によると、ジャン=クレール・トディボを獲り逃したユベントスが接触。すでにミランへ獲得オファーを出したそうだ。
オファーの内容は、レンタル料300万ユーロ(約4.8億円)+買い取りオプション1400万ユーロ(約22.5億円)の1年レンタル。買取OPはそこそこに、レンタル料は比較的高額だ。
どうやら11日のプレシーズンマッチ、アトレティコ・マドリー戦で0-2と敗れたことを受け、チアゴ・モッタ新監督がセンターバック補強への動きを加速するようクラブに要請。

ケガ、代理人の死、実兄からの恐喝事件…ポグバが苦難に満ちた1年間を回想「身体がついてこなかった」
ユベントスのフランス代表MFポール・ポグバが苦難に満ちた1年間を振り返った。 マンチェスター・ユナイテッドとの契約が満了した昨夏、ユベントスへとフリー移籍したポグバ。6年ぶりの古巣復帰には背番号「10」が与えられ、スクデット奪還を目論むチームのキーマンとして大きな期待が寄せられた。 しかし、待っていたのはケガとの戦い。開幕前から長期離脱してカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)行きを逃しただけでなく、戦列復帰後も幾度となく再発を振り返した結果、1年を通して公式戦の出場が10試合にとどまった。 フランス『Views』のインタビューに応じたポグバはケガのみならず、自身の代理人であったミーノ・ライオラ氏の死去、実兄による自身への恐喝事件などが重なった今シーズンを「人生最大の試練だった」と振り返った。 「自分が30歳になったなんて少し奇妙に感じるよ。僕は25歳で父親になり、家族と子どもたちに責任があるから、何も変わらないはずだけどね。常に自分らしくいようと努めているけど、成熟し、人生経験が増え、少しは責任感を持てるようになったと思うよ」 「この数カ月、あらゆることが僕を大きく成長させてくれたと思う。たった7カ月で10年分の人生を歩んだかのようだ(笑) これは人生の道のりであり、試練だよ。僕自身は前向きに捉えたい。何が大切なのかを学べたよ」 ポジティブな姿勢を語った一方、この1年間は多少なりともメンタルに不安があったことも認めている。 「自分をコントロールするのは結局のところ、頭だよ。頭の中がスッキリしていなければ、身体もついてこないんだ。ケガの原因はこの点だったと思う。僕の頭はサッカー以外で起きた問題にもストレスを感じ、全身が緊張に苛まれた。早くピッチに戻って雑音を取り除きたかったんだけどね」 ケガでなかなかピッチに戻れなかったことにより、大きな批判を浴びる時期もあったポグバ。来シーズンに懸ける思いは強い。 「ケガだけでなく、サッカー以外にも問題があった…間違いなく人生最大の試練だったよ。だけど、全て乗り越えられれば、僕の人生にとって最大の勝利となる。勝利のためになんだってやる準備ができているよ」 2023.06.17 20:35 Sat
