2022年夏に、リーベル・プレートからシティ入りを果たしたアルバレス。初年度からジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督の信頼を得て出場機会を得ると、チームの3冠獲得に貢献した。
今シーズンも、公式戦54試合19ゴール13アシストを記録。前人未到のプレミアリーグ4連覇に尽力した一方で、アーリング・ハーランドの存在もあって常にスタメンの座を得られるわけではなく、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)準々決勝の2試合はいずれもベンチスタートとなった。
そんなアルバレスに対しては、今夏の移籍市場で多くのクラブが関心を示している模様。移籍市場に精通するジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏によると、かねてより報じられているアトレティコ・マドリーだけでなく、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)やプレミアリーグのクラブも獲得を狙っているようだ。

VARで失敗に覆ったアルバレスのPK、本人は2度蹴りの自覚なし「ボールに触れた感覚はなかった」

日本戦で直接FK決めたU-17アルゼンチン代表の逸材確保へ、バルセロナが代理人と交渉中か

シティDFラポルテが同僚の“タトゥー” を品定め、エデルソンは「多いけど、かっこよくはない」

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂
