「あいつは老けてるんで」同学年の監督を語る伊東純也、シーズン終盤に失速も代表でのポジション争いに言及「代表でも結果を出さないと」
日本代表は13日、キリンチャレンジカップ2023に向けた活動2日目を迎えた。 6月はエルサルバドル代表(15日)、ペルー代表(20日)と2試合を戦う日本。3月に森保一監督の第二次政権となる活動がスタートしたが、ウルグアイ代表とコロンビア代表には勝つことができなかった。 新体制の初勝利を飾りたい今回の活動。初日は雨の中で一般公開されて行われた中、2日目は冒頭15分公開の予定がフル公開に変更。天気も良く、選手たちは汗を流した。 ゲーム形式でのトレーニングも行われ、様々な組み合わせを試すことに。相馬勇紀(カーザ・ピア)や中村敬斗(LASKリンツ)がサイドバックのポジションに入る場面もあった。 トレーニング後、MF伊東純也(スタッド・ランス)がメディア取材に応対。改めてシーズンを振り返った。 「チームが調子良かったんですが、最後の方は少し失速してしまって、ちょっと勿体なかったシーズンだったかなと。個人としても得点とかは後半止まったので残念でしたが、1年目でもできるなと感じました」 ヘンクからスタッド・ランスへと移籍し、リーグ・アン初挑戦となった伊東。35試合に出場し6ゴール5アシストと10ゴール以上に絡んだが、あまり満足はしていないようだ。 「できると思っていましたけど、ある程度思ったようなプレーができたと思うので、もっと結果を出さなければいけないというところはあります。最低限かなと」 日本代表としてもカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)でプレー。そのスピードと運動能力を見せつけたが、「気持ち的には変わっていないというか、もっとやってやろうという気持ちでしたが、メンタル的にもフィジカル的にも少し落ちてしまったというのは、客観的にみてもあるかなと思います」と、W杯後は自身も苦しいシーズンとなったという。 チームもみるみる順位が低下し、結局11位でフィニッシュ。「後半は勿体なかったですね。それまではヨーロッパも近かったので」と、来シーズンのヨーロッパの大会出場を逃したことを悔やんだ。 フランスとベルギーの違いについては「全体的にレベルは上がっていると思いますし、個のところも良い選手が多いと思います」と語る伊東。監督交代もシーズン中にあった中、自身の特徴は出せたとし、「戦術的に中に入ることも多くて、サイドで張って仕掛けたり、両方できるようにしようと。ベルギーでもそういう形でやっていたので」と、サイドだけでなく、カットインしてのプレーや、中でボールを受けるプレーも出せたとした。 シーズン途中からはウィル・スティル監督が就任。30歳の青年指揮官であり、同学年の伊東は「あいつは老けてるんで、同い年には見えていないです。貫禄があるので」と冗談交じりにコメントしつつも、「歳とったなと思います」と、監督と同じ学年であることを実感しているようだ。 その伊東だが、今回の活動に関しては「いつもと変わらないです」と語り、「試合に出たらチャンスを作って結果を出すことはやっていかなければいけないですし、若い選手に負けないようにまだまだ結果を出していきたいと思います」とコメント。所属クラブで結果を出してきた攻撃陣については「みんな結果を出していたと思いますし、チームで結果を出して、代表でも結果を出さないといけないと思うので、うまく競争してやりながらという感じですね」と、ポジション争いをしながらも、日本代表としても結果を出したいと語った。 また、トレーニングでは相馬や中村がSBでプレーしたが、自身については「ないと思います笑」とコメント。「WBはできますけど、4バックの右は…やったことありますけど…柏の時に」とあまり経験がないとコメント。「今のところはないと思いますが、やれと言われればやります」と、森保一監督に求められれば、プレーする気持ちはあるとした。 2023.06.13 22:15 Tue

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!
