ブラジルで指揮経験持つクレスポ氏、セレソンの物議ダンスは「いたって普通」

元アルゼンチン代表FWエルナン・クレスポ氏がブラジル代表を擁護している。

現役時代に世界屈指の点取り屋として鳴らしたクレスポ氏。引退後の現在はブラジルのサンパウロで指揮官を務めたのち、今年3月からはカタールのアル・ドゥハイルでヘッドコーチを務めている。

そのカタールではワールドカップ(W杯)が開催中。5日に行われた決勝トーナメント1回戦のブラジル代表vs韓国代表では、ブラジルがゴール後に見せたダンスセレブレーションが相手を侮辱しているのではと物議を醸す。

この行為に多くの元選手から批判的な意見が飛ぶ一方、ブラジルでの指揮経験を持つアルゼンチン人のクレスポ氏は、ブラジル『ESPN』のインタビューで何ら問題ないものと説明している。

「私はブラジルで、選手たちの文化を理解するために多くのことを学んだ。だから、対戦相手のダンスを見るのはいたって普通のことと考える」

「正直、あまり美しくはないかもしれないが、彼ら(ブラジル代表)は何も悪いことをしていない。ただ踊り、ゴールを祝っているにすぎない」

「チッチ(監督)も一緒に踊っているのを見て、彼らが団結したグループであると理解した。私にとって今大会のブラジルはお気に入りのチームの1つになったよ」

一方、ピッチ内でのパフォーマンスにも称賛の言葉を並べている。

「踊るか踊らないかではなく、ピッチで観客を沸かせることがもっとも重要。チームはもちろん、個々のパフォーマンスも素晴らしいね。リシャルリソンやネイマールなんて50%の状態でも違いを生み出せるじゃないか」

「恐ろしい数カ月だった…」レイプ疑惑で逮捕されたダニエウ・アウベス、妻が離別を報告「これからもずっと彼を愛します」
