アトレティコ、トーマス強奪のアーセナルに怒り! シメオネはトレイラとのドブレピボーテを構想
アトレティコ・マドリーは、移籍市場閉幕ギリギリにガーナ代表MFトーマス・パルティ(27)を強奪したアーセナルに憤りを見せているようだ。『ESPN』が報じている。 アーセナルは今夏、リヨンのフランス代表MFフセム・アワール(22)、チェルシーのイタリア代表MFジョルジーニョ(28)など、セントラルMFや守備的MFを主戦場とする新戦力の獲得に動いていた。 そういった中、以前から長期的に関心を示してきたトーマスを最終的に獲得することに成功した。 ただ、移籍市場最終日のビッグディール成立は、アトレティコ側にとって予期せぬものだったようだ。 アトレティコは同じ5日にアーセナルからウルグアイ代表MFルーカス・トレイラ(24)をレンタル移籍で獲得しており、一部ではトーマスとのトレードに近いオペレーションとの見方もあった。 しかし、スペイン『アス』が報じるところによれば、シメオネ監督はトレイラをトーマスのドブレピボーテの相棒と見なしており、今後に向けて両者を中央で起用し、MFサウール・ニゲス、MFコケのスペイン代表MFをサイドで起用するクアトロピボーテも構想していたようだ。 そして、その背景にはトーマスが今夏残留するという確信があったという。 各メディアの情報をまとめると、アーセナルとアトレティコはトレイラの交渉の中でトーマス移籍に関する話し合いを行っておらず、アトレティコサイドはアーセナルが前述の2選手など他の候補の獲得に動くと考えていたようだ。 しかし、アーセナルはアワールの獲得交渉失敗、トレイラ、U-21フランス代表MFマテオ・ゲンドゥージ(ヘルタ・ベルリン)のレンタル移籍を通じて、5000万ユーロ(約62億1000万円)に設定されていたトーマスの契約解除金を準備し、移籍市場最終日にスペインプロリーグ機構(LFP)に収めたことで、電撃移籍が成立することになった。 今回の動きに関してルール違反はないものの、トーマスあるいはアーセナルからアトレティコに事情を伝える配慮はあってしかるべきだと考えられており、教え子に裏切られる形となったシメオネ監督を含めアトレティコサイドは激怒しているようだ。 なお、アトレティコでは昨夏にスペイン代表MFロドリゴ・エルナンデス(マンチェスター・シティ)、フランス代表FWアントワーヌ・グリーズマン(バルセロナ)、フランス代表DFリュカ・エルナンデス(バイエルン)を同様の形で引き抜かれているが、その3選手に関しては移籍市場閉幕までに多くの日数が残っており、代役の獲得が可能だった。 しかし、今回のケースではトーマス流出に伴う代役の確保に動く時間は残されておらず、アトレティコが不義理だと怒りを覚える気持ちも理解できなくはない。一方、アーセナルも幾つかのプラン変更に伴う動きだった可能性もあり、完全に悪者だと断じることはできない。 ただ、今回の移籍を通じて両クラブの間に軋轢が生じたことは確かであり、今後ヨーロッパの舞台で直接対決が行われる場合、壮絶な遺恨マッチとなるはずだ。 2020.10.07 16:13 Wed

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
