6日のプレミアリーグ第15節でマンチェスター・ユナイテッドをホームに迎え撃ち、3-1で勝利したビラ。この試合はウナイ・エメリ体制の初陣でもあったが、コウチーニョはメンバー外だった。
エメリ監督はイギリスの地元メディア『Birmingham Live』で欠場理由として、大腿四頭筋のケガを明らかにしている。
「コウチーニョはケガをした。どれぐらいかかるかわからないが、今日はプレーできなかったし、ブレイク後までないだろう。筋肉系のケガだ。木曜日(10日)も日曜日(13日)もプレーできない」
そんなコウチーニョは今季がビラ移籍2年目。バルセロナから完全に籍を移してのシーズンだが、ここまで公式戦13試合に出場してゴールもアシストもなしと思うような活躍ができていない状況だった。

コウチーニョがカタール行きに前進、この移籍を最も喜ぶのはバルセロナ?

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ

2024バロンドールはロドリが初受賞! ヴィニシウスやベリンガムらマドリー3選手抑えての受賞に
