天国から地獄というのはまさにこのことを言うのだろう。11日に行われたセリエA第6節のユベントスvsサレルニターナは波乱含みだった。
今季は開幕から無敗を維持も、勝ち点の取りこぼしが目立ちスタートダッシュに失敗したユベントス。サレルニターナ戦も18分、そして前半アディショナルタイムに失点し、2点ビハインドで後半を迎える。
しかし後半に反撃。51分に今夏加入したグレイソン・ブレーメルが1点を返すが、2点目が遠い。それでも後半アディショナルタイム3分にレオナルド・ボヌッチがPKを失敗したものの、こぼれ球を決めて値千金の同点弾を記録。さらに押し込んだユベントスに大きなドラマが待っていた。
2-2としたアディショナルタイム4分、押し込んだユベントスは左CKを獲得。クロスをニアサイドに飛び込んだアルカディウシュ・ミリクがヘッド。これがネットを揺らす。
しかし、なんとここでVARが発動。ミリクのヘディングに対して、ボヌッチが反応したことがオフサイドの可能性があるとされた。
確かにボヌッチはオフサイドポジションだったが、ボールに触れたわけでもなく、GKの視界を遮ったりプレーに関与したとは思えない。さらに、ゴール前ではなくコーナーフラッグ付近にいたアントニオ・カンドレーバの方がラインが後ろと見られており完全なるミス。それでもだ、判定はオフサイドとなりゴールは認められず、2-2のドローとなった。
なお、ミリクはユニフォームを脱いだためにイエローカードをもらったが、これは試合で2枚目となり退場。ゴールも認められず、退場処分となるまさに二重罰。加えて、フアン・クアドラードも退場処分となっていた。
マッシミリアーノ・アッレグリ監督は「シーズンの当初からVARで運がない」と試合後にコメント。今回のオフサイド判定は大きく問題として取り上げられる可能性がありそうだ。

ネドベド氏がアル・シャバブのスポーツ・ディレクターに就任、副会長務めたユベントスでは9連覇に貢献
