11日に開幕を迎えるユーロ2020で2大会ぶりの優勝を目指すスペイン代表には、秘密兵器があるようだ。スペイン『アス』が伝えている。秘密兵器とは、老化を遅らせることができるという「Hogo」社のベッドだ。同社は「老化の原因となる酸化と炎症を遅らせることにより、生物学的加齢を減少させる、世界で唯一科学的に保証された特許取得済みの休息システム」だとこのベッドをアピールしており、約 35,000 ユーロ(約470万円)の代物だ。
このベッドの火付け役となったのは、アトレティコ・マドリーに所属するMFマルコス・ジョレンテで、2020年から愛用。これがスペイン代表のチームメイトであるMFコケ、DFアイメリク・ラポルテ、FWアルバロ・モラタ、DFエリック・ガルシアにも波及し、5選手は自宅で使っているベッドを合宿に持ち込んでいるようだ。

「心の中で一緒に」亡き娘の13歳の誕生日… スペイン代表指揮官が思いを馳せる
スペイン代表のルイス・エンリケ監督が、3年前に他界した天国の娘に思いを馳せた。スペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』が伝えている。 カタールW杯でスペイン代表を率い、2010年の南アフリカ大会以来となる優勝を目指すL・エンリケ監督。28日に行われたグループ第2戦のドイツ代表戦は1-1のドローとなり、現時点で1勝1分の首位に。来月2日の日本代表戦は決勝トーナメント進出がかかる大事な一戦となる。 そんな同監督だが、2018年7月のスペイン代表指揮官就任後、骨肉腫を患っていた娘のシャナちゃんの看病のために翌年6月に一度辞任。シャナちゃんはおよそ5ヶ月の闘病の末、同年8月に9歳の若さで亡くなった。 その3ヶ月後には指揮官に復帰し、欧州予選を勝ち抜いてカタールの地へと辿り着いたが、ドイツ戦が行われた11月27日(現地時間)はシャナちゃんの誕生日。試合後のインタビューでは、この日13歳になるはずだった天国の娘に思いを馳せている。 「今日は間違いなく、私と家族にとって特別な日だった。私たち家族はもうシャナに会えないが、心の中ではいつも一緒にいる」 「彼女の笑顔を思い出したり、日常で起こるささいな出来事に『彼女ならどうリアクションするだろう?』などと考えてしまう。きっと人生とはそういうもの。そのどれもが美しく、今では感情をコントロールすることもできるようになっているよ」 2022.11.28 13:52 Mon

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー
ローマDFディーン・ハイセン(18)が自らのアイデンティティを語った。オランダ『Voetbal International』が伝えている。 セリエAでメキメキ頭角を表す197cmの両利きセンターバック・ハイセン。16歳でマラガからユベントスへ移籍し、トップ昇格の今季は後半戦からローマへ武者修行…順調に出場機会を得ている。 そんなハイセン、U-17オランダ代表の一員として2022年にU-17欧州選手権準優勝などなど、これまでは世代別オランダ代表の常連。 しかし、今回の代表ウィークはU-21スペイン代表に招集…元アヤックスの父ドン・ハイセン氏を含めて一家揃ってオランダ出身だが、自身が5歳の時にスペイン・アンダルシア州へ移住し、今年2月にはスペイン国籍を取得しているのだ。 そして、21日に行われたU-21スロバキア代表との国際親善試合でラ・ロヒタ(世代別スペイン代表の愛称)デビュー。スペイン『マルカ』のインタビューでは「僕はスペイン人」と明言した。 「そうだね。僕は自分がスペイン人だと感じているよ。5歳からマラガで育ち、今回スペイン代表の一員になれて嬉しい。いずれスペイン代表でトロフィーを勝ち取りたいよ」 ハイセンをDFヴィルヒル・ファン・ダイクやDFステファン・デ・フライ、DFマタイス・デ・リフトらに続く新時代のディフェンスリーダーと捉えていたオランダ側から見れば、今回の所信表明は痛い。 2024.03.26 16:35 Tue
