12日に行われたユーロ2020予選のスペイン代表とノルウェー代表の一戦で、ある記録が生まれていたようだ。スペイン『アス』が伝えている。

この試合ではレアル・マドリーのスペイン代表DFセルヒオ・ラモスが先発出場し、代表通算168試合目の出場に。ポルトに所属する元スペイン代表GKイケル・カシージャスの167試合を上回り、スペイン代表の歴代最多記録を樹立していた。

偉大な記録達成に沸くなか、実はスペイン代表にはもう1つの記録が誕生していたのだ。それは、先発の11名が別のクラブに所属しているということだ。
これまでのスペイン代表は、レアル・マドリー、バルセロナの国内2強クラブの所属選手が多くを占めていたが、この試合ではついに11名全員がチームメイトではないという珍記録が誕生。スペイン代表にとって99年の歴史の中で初めてのことであり、699試合目にして達成された。

この記録達成に寄与したのは、ルイス・エンリケ監督が家庭の事情で突然の退任したことにより就任したロベルト・モレノ監督だ。ルイス・エンリケ監督の右腕として働いてきた指揮官。ルイス・エンリケ監督自身も多くの新たな選手を呼んでいたながれを受け継ぎ、珍記録を樹立した。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「まだ泣くの早いって」と本田圭佑にツッコまれた日本代表サポーター、元Jリーガーの親友だった「親友が世界的にバズってて最高」

「本当に泣ける…」スペイン相手に劇的勝利、日本代表選手たちが勝利後のロッカー&バスで歌った曲は?久保建英がスピーカー持ってファンの前に

モロッコの国家的プロジェクト…ブラヒム&16歳ヤマルに政府高官が接触、自国にルーツの海外出身選手でA代表強化へ

モロッコ国王が、自国にルーツを持つ2選手のA代表招集を指示しているようだ。スペイン『Relevo』が伝えている。 カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)で4位入賞を果たしたモロッコ代表。20世紀前半にフランスの植民地だった同国の代表チームにはフランス生まれの選手が多く、他にもスペインやオランダなど欧州を中心とした海外出身の選手が非常に多いのが特徴的だ。 フランス生まれのワリド・レグラギ監督が率いる現チームでは、キャプテンのDFロマン・サイスもフランス生まれ。DFアクラフ・ハキミはスペイン、MFハキム・ツィエクとDFヌサイル・マズラウィとMFソフィアン・アムラバトはオランダ、GKボノはカナダなどなど中心選手の大半が海外出身だ。 かつて移民として国を離れた者たち。その子孫を集めることが代表チーム強化に繋がっているわけだが、現在はラ・リーガでプレーするモロッコ系プレーヤー2人の呼び戻しに注力。レアル・マドリーのMFブラヒム・ディアス(24)、バルセロナのFWラミン・ヤマル(16)を招集したい考えがあるようだ。 2人とも、生まれも育ちもスペインで、父親がモロッコ人。16歳ヤマルが今シーズンのラ・リーガ序盤戦で旋風を巻き起こしていることもあってか、モロッコ国内では2人の勧誘に関する議論が活発化しており、もはやスポーツの枠組みを越え、国家的なプロジェクトになっているという。 また、国王であり、国家元首でもあるムハンマド6世の命を受けた政府高官ら数人が「ブラヒム&ヤマルをモロッコ代表に」作戦を進めており、2人と電話で接触。モロッコは2030年のW杯招致に立候補していることもあって、本気で2人の囲い込みに動いているようだ。 ブラヒムはA代表の変更手続きが容易な国際親善試合とはいえ、2021年にスペイン代表として1試合に出場した経験が。ただ、現時点でモロッコ代表入りには応じずも、プライベートで頻繁にモロッコを訪れており、スペイン代表から遠ざかるなか、どこかで決断する可能性も捨てきれないとみられている。 その一方、ヤマルの説得は現実的ではない。こちらは9月の代表ウィークでスペイン代表に初招集されることが確実視され、カンテラの先輩MFガビが保有する17歳62日という最年少出場記録を塗り替えるものと考えられている。もう時間が残されていない。 可能性があるとすればブラヒムの方であることは想像に難くない。レグラギ監督はブラヒムから「イエス」が届けば、即座に招集する方針とのことだ。 2023.08.29 17:51 Tue
