▽フランス代表は6日に行われたUEFAネイションズリーグ・リーグA・グループ1のドイツ代表戦を0-0のドローで終えた。同試合で代表デビューを飾りクリーンシートに貢献したフランス代表GKアルフォンス・アレオラが自身のデビュー戦を振り返った。フランス『レキップ』が伝えている。

▽欧州で新たに新設された同大会。ユーロ2020へのプレーオフ出場権も獲得できるレギュレーションとなっている中、その初戦ではロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)王者フランスと、ブラジルW杯王者ドイツの新旧世界王者対決がいきなり実現した。互いにほぼ主力を揃えた中、拮抗した攻防が繰り広げられたが、劣勢を強いられたフランスはレ・ブルーデビューのアレオラが6度のセーブなど圧巻のパフォーマンスを披露し、チームに勝ち点1をもたらした。

▽2015年8月の初招集以降、3年以上に渡ってデビューがお預けとなっていた中、正GKウーゴ・ロリスと第2GKのスティーブ・マンダンダの負傷によってようやく出番が回ってきたアレオラは待望のデビュー戦を振り返った。
「今日は多くの仕事があったね。とにかく、成功を収めるためにできるだけ良い準備をすることを考えていたよ。最初のシュート(18分のヴェルナー)で自信を持つことができた。良い滑り出しを見せられ、全体的にソリッドなパフォーマンスだったと思うよ」

「必要以上のプレッシャーはなく良いプレッシャーを感じていたんだ。トレーニングから準備ができていたし、チームメートやスタッフたちが自信を与えてくれたんだ」
「今日はU-20W杯決勝のときのように自分が無敵になったような感覚を持っていたよ」

「個人的にもっとより多くの出場時間やビッグマッチでプレーしていく必要があると感じている。それこそが自分自身が成長し続けることを可能にしてくれるはずさ」

「こういった試合は多くのものを変えてくれる。だから、今後も出続ける必要があるんだ。今日の自分のパフォーマンスに満足しているけど、勝利という小さなボーナスがあっても良かったと思っているよ(笑)」

元バルセロナのフランス代表DFマテューが39歳で現役を再引退

フランス6部のリュイーヌ・スポールは23日、元フランス代表DFジェレミー・マテュー(39)が現役引退することを発表した。 フランス代表として5キャップを持つ、大型左サイドバック兼センターバックのマテューは、ソショー、トゥールーズを経て、2009年夏にバレンシアに移籍。 バレンシアでコンスタントに活躍すると、2014年夏にバルセロナに移籍した。バルセロナでは在籍3年で2度のラ・リーガ優勝、1度のチャンピオンズリーグ優勝を経験。 その後、スポルティングCPで3季プレーし、2019-20シーズンをもっての引退を発表していたが、2021年夏に現役復帰しリュイーヌ・スポールに加入していた。 2023.10.23 23:20 Mon

FIFA公式がロシアW杯ベストイレブンを発表! ヤングやパウリーニョら“クセがすごい”選出も…
