▽フランス代表は6日に行われたUEFAネイションズリーグ・リーグA・グループ1のドイツ代表戦を0-0のドローで終えた。同試合で代表デビューを飾りクリーンシートに貢献したフランス代表GKアルフォンス・アレオラが自身のデビュー戦を振り返った。フランス『レキップ』が伝えている。

▽欧州で新たに新設された同大会。ユーロ2020へのプレーオフ出場権も獲得できるレギュレーションとなっている中、その初戦ではロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)王者フランスと、ブラジルW杯王者ドイツの新旧世界王者対決がいきなり実現した。互いにほぼ主力を揃えた中、拮抗した攻防が繰り広げられたが、劣勢を強いられたフランスはレ・ブルーデビューのアレオラが6度のセーブなど圧巻のパフォーマンスを披露し、チームに勝ち点1をもたらした。

▽2015年8月の初招集以降、3年以上に渡ってデビューがお預けとなっていた中、正GKウーゴ・ロリスと第2GKのスティーブ・マンダンダの負傷によってようやく出番が回ってきたアレオラは待望のデビュー戦を振り返った。
「今日は多くの仕事があったね。とにかく、成功を収めるためにできるだけ良い準備をすることを考えていたよ。最初のシュート(18分のヴェルナー)で自信を持つことができた。良い滑り出しを見せられ、全体的にソリッドなパフォーマンスだったと思うよ」

「必要以上のプレッシャーはなく良いプレッシャーを感じていたんだ。トレーニングから準備ができていたし、チームメートやスタッフたちが自信を与えてくれたんだ」
「今日はU-20W杯決勝のときのように自分が無敵になったような感覚を持っていたよ」

「個人的にもっとより多くの出場時間やビッグマッチでプレーしていく必要があると感じている。それこそが自分自身が成長し続けることを可能にしてくれるはずさ」

「こういった試合は多くのものを変えてくれる。だから、今後も出続ける必要があるんだ。今日の自分のパフォーマンスに満足しているけど、勝利という小さなボーナスがあっても良かったと思っているよ(笑)」

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」

▽現役時代にインテルなどで活躍した元イタリア代表DFマルコ・マテラッツィ氏が、2006年ドイツ・ワールドカップ(W杯)決勝で起こした元フランス代表MFジネディーヌ・ジダン氏との“頭突き事件”で、自身が発した侮辱発言の真相を明かした。同氏がフランス『レキップ』のインタビューで語った。 ▽ジダン頭突き事件は、2006年7月9日にベルリン・オリンピアシュタディオンで行われたドイツW杯決勝のイタリア代表VSフランス代表の延長戦で起きた。それ以前から何度かジダン氏とマッチアップしていたマテラッツィ氏は、延長後半5分にジダン氏に対して、幾度か声をかけると、この挑発にのったジダン氏は無言のまま、マテラッツィ氏の胸に頭突きを見舞い、この暴力行為によってレッドカードを掲示され、自身の現役ラストマッチを退場という形で終えることになった。 ▽マテラッツィ氏は、同事件からちょうど10年目を迎える前日の8日にジダン氏の母国フランスのメディア『レキップ』で、ジダン氏に向けて言い放った侮辱発言の真相を明かしている。 「以前から多くの人々に、ジダンにあのような行為(頭突き)をさせた自分の発言内容について聞かれ続けてきた。だから、私はそのことに関して本を出版することを決めた」 「多くの新聞が推測したように、私は彼の母親についてではなく、彼の姉について言及した。私は15歳の頃に自分の母親を亡くしている。だから、彼の母親を侮辱するほど下劣な人間ではないんだ」 「また、私はあの事件がなぜこれほどの騒ぎとなったのか、未だに理解できないんだ。私があの日に関して覚えているのは、自分が決めたゴールだけだ」 「時々、イタリアでは街中でファンと遭遇することがあるけど、彼らは“マルコ、あいつ(ジダン)から頭突きを受けるなんてうまくやったな”と声をかけてくるんだ。ただ、僕は頭突きされた側だから、少し腹立たしい気持ちになる。それはこの事件の奇妙な部分でもある。ただ、個人的には大したことだと思っていないし、あの行為に怒ってもいないんだ」 ▽なおマテラッツィ氏は、ジダン頭突き事件後にイタリア国内のテレビ番組でこの侮辱発言に関して、「お前の姉貴より娼婦のほうがましだ」と発言していたことを認めていた。 2016.07.09 14:47 Sat
