▽ロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)に臨むドイツ代表メンバーから落選したマンチェスター・シティのMFレロイ・ザネが心境を明かした。

▽ドイツサッカー協会(DFB)は4日、ロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)に臨むドイツ代表メンバー23名を発表した。その中で大きな話題となったのが、マンチェスター・シティMFレロイ・ザネの落選だった。

▽ザネの落選理由についてドイツを率いるヨアヒム・レーブ監督は、各ポジションの人数の構成、レバークーゼンに所属するMFユリアン・ブラントのコンフェデレーションズカップでの好パフォーマンスを主に挙げていた。

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue

19歳の至宝ヴィルツが憧れるクラブとは? レバークーゼンは安売り許さず?

長期離脱から復帰したレバークーゼンのドイツ代表MFフロリアン・ヴィルツ(19)への関心が強まっているようだ。ヴィルツはドイツ代表の次世代を担うと言われている逸材。2020年5月に17歳15日でブンデスリーガデビューを果たすと、あっという間にチームの攻撃をけん引する存在となり、19歳にしてクラブ通算86試合21得点26アシストを記録している。昨年3月に左ヒザ前十字じん帯を断裂し、長期離脱を強いられたのは痛恨だったが、今年1月に復帰後は公式戦8試合で2得点4アシストを記録。すでに完全復活を印象付けている。ケガ以前からバルセロナやレアル・マドリーといったビッグクラブの関心が伝えらえていたが、スペイン『Fichajes』は、今後はより多くのクラブが熱視線を送るようになるだろうと主張している。一方、レバークーゼンは2020年夏にドイツ代表MFカイ・ハヴァーツを8000万ユーロ(約115億5000万円)でチェルシーに売却した前例があり、昨夏に2027年6月までの長期契約を結んだヴィルツについても、そう簡単に手放すつもりはないと考えられている。なお、ヴィルツは過去にバルセロナのファンであることを公言しているとのことだ。 2023.02.25 21:48 Sat
