多くの日本人サポーターが沸いたこの試合だが、スタンドから眺めることを余儀なくされた人物がいた。

それは移籍市場最終日に半年間のレンタル移籍でレンジャーズに加入したウェールズ代表MFアーロン・ラムジー。前所属先のユベントスでは今シーズンの公式戦わずか5試合の出場に留まっており、コンディションの問題もありセルティック戦を欠場した。

イギリス『サン』はこの試合を眺めるラムジーの表情に注目。「セルティックが開始4分でリードを奪うと唖然とした表情を浮かべた」と伝え、「セルティック・パークで繰り広げられる悲惨な光景に、元ガナーズのエースは惨めな表情を浮かべていた」と綴っている。

「こっちをホームユニにしてください」セルティックの限定ユニフォームに異例の願いが多数!緑と白の横縞を採用してから120年を記念「これこそ完璧だ」

未曾有のシーズンとなった2020年のJリーグ。新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大を受け、中断による異例の超過密日程、観戦や応援の制限など、多くの困難を乗り越え、すべての日程を終了した。その中でも、熱戦が続いた2020シーズンのJリーグ。超ワールドサッカー編集部は、J1全18クラブの通信簿(チームMVP、補強成功度、総合評価)をお届けする。最後は優勝した川崎フロンターレを総括!(評価は「S」が最高、「E」が最低) ◆総合評価【S】 26勝5分け3敗 (勝率76.5%) 88得点31失点 <div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/img/2020/frontale2020_1_tw4.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">©︎J.LEAGUE<hr></div> 2017シーズン、2018シーズンと明治安田J1を連覇した川崎フロンターレにとって、2020シーズンは忘れられないシーズンとなった。そして、それはJリーグの歴史にもしっかりと記録されることとなるだろう。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けてどのチームも苦しんだ2020シーズン。過密日程やコンディション調整の難しさなどは、平等とは言い切れないものの、各チームに一定の負担をかけることとなった。川崎Fにも当然ながら大きな影響を与えた新型コロナウイルスだったが、それを感じさせない圧倒的な強さを見せ続けた。開幕戦こそサガン鳥栖に0-0のゴールレスドローとなったが、中断明けの第2節から驚異の11連勝を記録。12連勝目を目指した名古屋グランパス戦では敗れ、次のヴィッセル神戸戦でも2-2の引き分けとなったが、第13節の清水エスパルス戦で勝利すると、そのまま連勝を続けJ1新記録の12連勝を達成した。圧倒的な強さで勝ち点を積み上げ首位を独走していた川崎Fは、11月25日のガンバ大阪戦で5-0と圧勝。4試合を残すJ1最速での優勝を決めた。この強さは、チームとして同じ方向を向いて戦い続けられたことも大きいが、鬼木達監督が作り上げたチームの賜物。25試合以上の先発選手が6名いるものの、バランスよく選手を起用。どの選手が出場してどういった組み合わせになっても、チームのレベルを大きく下げることなく戦えたことが優勝の要因だろう。また、特別採用となった5人の交代枠を最も有効に使えたのも川崎Fだった。おおよそのクラブが似たような選手交代を繰り返し、同じタイプの選手を起用するという形を取らざるを得ない中、川崎Fは選手交代によってチームを変化。一気に流れを掴むことも大きかった。鬼木監督を筆頭に、チームとしての完成度の高さを見せつけた川崎Fは成績も示す通り、Jリーグ史上最強のチームと言っても過言ではない。そして、リーグ2位のガンバ大阪と対戦した新年一発目、元旦の天皇杯決勝でも試合巧者ぶりを見せて2冠を達成。クラブ一筋で支えたバンディエラ・中村憲剛の現役引退に華を添え、全ての国内タイトルを獲得させたシーズンは文句なしの「S」評価だ。 ◆チーム内MVP <div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/img/2020/frontale2020_1_tw2.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">©︎J.LEAGUE<hr></div> MF三笘薫(23) 明治安田生命J1リーグ30試合出場(先発11試合)/13得点二桁得点を記録した選手が4名、多くの選手が試合にしっかりと絡み、誰か1人が突出していたわけではない2020シーズンの川崎F。その中で、MVPを決めるのは難しいことだが、インパクトの大きさでMF三笘薫を選出する。筑波大学から新加入したルーキーの三笘は、シーズン序盤はベンチスタートが多かった。しかし、途中出場でしっかりとゴールという結果を残すと、徐々にスタメンでの出場機会が増えていく。左ウイングで起用される三笘は独特のリズムで仕掛けるドリブルで、対峙するDFを翻弄。縦にもカットインもできるドリブルは相手DFを混乱に陥らせ、シュートやパスといった攻撃パターンの多さも困らせる要因となった。 14得点を記録したFW小林悠、13得点を記録したFWレアンドロ・ダミアンという強力なストライカーがいることももちろん影響はあるが、どのチーム相手にも三笘は通用することを示した。終わってみれば新人最多タイの13得点を記録。決定力も備えたアタッカーという武器を手に入れた川崎Fは、さらに進化する可能性がある。三笘自身は2年目のジンクスに打ち当たらず、2020シーズン以上の数字を残してもらいたいものだ。 ◆補強成功度【S】 <div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/img/2020/frontale2020_1_tw3.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">©︎J.LEAGUE<hr></div> 既存選手の活躍も非常に大きかった2020シーズンだが、やはり新加入選手がもたらした効果は大きいと考える。前述の三笘も新加入選手の1人。圧倒的なパフォーマンスを見せたことはもはや説明不要。三笘の存在が、川崎Fの強さを加速させたことは間違いない。そして、その三笘と同じ大卒ルーキーだったFW旗手怜央も忘れてはならない。順天堂大学から加入した旗手は、31試合に出場し5得点を記録。旗手の方が三笘よりも多く先発機会を得ていた。得点数を見れば三笘に大きく離されている旗手だが、ポテンシャルの高さを発揮。シーズン終盤や天皇杯では左サイドバックを務めるなど、プレーヤーとしての幅の広さを見せることとなった。選手層が厚い川崎Fの前線で勝負するには、やはり得点が求められる。2年目のシーズンはより数字にこだわってプレーしてもらいたい。そしてこの2人をも凌駕する驚きを見せたのは湘南ベルマーレから獲得したDF山根視来だ。加入当初は硬い動きだったが、右サイドバックとして定着すると持ち前の粘り強い守備と、湘南で鍛えられた運動量をベースにアグレッシブな攻撃参加を披露。シーズンを通して4得点を記録するなど、新たなサイドバックとして君臨した。 2度優勝した時にチームを支えたDFエウシーニョ(現清水エスパルス)とはまた違ったタイプで、同じ右サイドのMF家長昭博のコンビネーションは抜群。ベストイレブンにも選ばれる活躍は圧巻だった。大卒ルーキーは他にも2名おり、東海学園大学卒のDF神谷凱士と桐蔭横浜大学卒のMFイサカ・ゼインがいたが両者は試合に絡めず。また、セレッソ大阪からきたGK丹野研太も出場機会なし。DFジオゴ・マテウスも3試合の出場に終わったが、3名が優勝に大きく貢献し、重要なピースになったことを評価したい。 2021.01.11 22:30 Mon

スコットランドリーグが打ち切り検討? 各クラブの財政面考慮し苦渋の決断…

スコティッシュ・プレミアシップが2019-20シーズンの打ち切りを真剣に検討しているようだ。イギリス『デイリー・テレグラフ』が報じている。現在、世界中で深刻な健康被害をもたらしている新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)。すでに感染者数は全世界で100万人を超えており、終息の目途は全く立っていない。スコットランドではイングランドのプレミアリーグなどと足並みを揃える形で、3月13日にスコットランドサッカー協会(SFA)の管理下にある国内のプロおよびアマチュアサッカーに関して、延期することを決定。以降、長期に渡る中断期間に入っている。その中でスコティッシュ・プレミアシップに所属する多くのクラブは財政面に深刻なダメージを被っており、その問題を少しでも緩和するため、今月2日にシーズン打ち切りを決定したベルギー1部のジュピラー・プロ・リーグに追随する形でシーズンの打ち切りを真剣に検討しているようだ。『テレグラフ』が伝えるところによれば、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップが完了した場合、最終順位に合わせて収益の分配が速やかに行われるため、多くのクラブが抱える財政的な不安を解消できるという。逆に、リーグ再開時期が不透明な中、今後も非常時の対応を続けた場合、多くのクラブの資金繰りがより困難となり、来シーズン以降に大きな影響が生じる可能性が高いという。また、無観客開催での日程消化というプランに関しては様々な問題によってほぼ不可能と考えられているようだ。また、クラブにとって重要な収入源である来シーズンのシーズンチケットの販売に関しても大きな影響が生じるという。仮に、『テレグラフ』の報道通り、現段階でシーズンが打ち切られた場合、第30節終了時点(レンジャーズとセント・ジョンストンの1試合が未消化)での順位が最終順位として有効となり、2位以下に暫定13ポイントを付けているセルティックの優勝が支持される。そして、レギュラーシーズンの残り3試合、上位6クラブと下位6クラブに分かれて各グループ1度ずつの総当たりで戦うスプリット方式の5試合が開催されないことになる。現時点ではヨーロッパのコンペティションへの出場権、昇格・降格の取り扱いに関して話はまとまっていないようだが、打ち切りを決断する可能性は高いようだ。ただ、欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)のアレクサンデル・チェフェリン会長は先日、今季のリーグ戦を消化できずに早期終了させた場合、2020-21シーズンの欧州カップ戦出場を認めない方針を打ち出しており、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップはUEFAとの調整を含めて各所との話し合いが必要となりそうだ。 2020.04.04 17:30 Sat

リバプール育ちの元イングランド代表DFフラナガンが29歳で現役引退…ヒザのケガが原因

ジェラードが“悲劇のスリップ”に改めて言及「時に失敗はより良くなるための助けになる」
