シュチェスニーのくわえタバコ姿が目撃されたのは、スペイン戦の数時間前。ポーランド代表のメンバーがスタジアムに向かってホテルを出る場面だった。代表の練習着に身を包んだシュチェスニーはホテルから出ると、チームバスに乗り込むまでの間、周囲にチームメイトもいる中で喫煙していた。
シュチェスニーはアーセナル時代の2014-15シーズン途中に喫煙の事実が発覚。コロンビア代表GKダビド・オスピナの加入もあり、事件以降はセカンドキーパーに序列を落とした。また、シュチェスニーはこのシーズンがアーセナルでプレーをした最後のシーズンとなっている。
シュチェスニーは後に、退団とは無関係としながらも定期的にタバコを吸っていたことを明かし、試合後にタバコをふかしたことがアーセン・ヴェンゲル監督に伝わって罰金を言い渡されたことを明かしていた。

日本人選手がポーランド女子リーグで初のタイトル! 来季UWCL出場権も獲得

2022年プスカシュ賞は衝撃バイシクル弾!アンプティサッカー界から史上初受賞

ポーランド代表の逸材MFカミンスキが来季からヴォルフスブルクに加入、5年契約
ヴォルフスブルクは10日、ポーランド代表MFヤクブ・カミンスキ(19)を完全移籍で獲得することを発表した。 契約期間は2027年夏までの5年間。2022年夏に加入することとなる。 カミンスキは、レフ・ポズナンのアカデミー育ち。2018年12月に16歳でファーストチームに昇格した逸材だ。 左右のウイングでプレーするカミンスキは、ここまで公式戦85試合に出場し13ゴール13アシストを記録。今シーズンのエクストラクラサ(ポーランド1部)でも、ここまで19試合に出場し6ゴール4アシストの活躍を見せている。 カミンスキは「僕にとって、ブンデスリーガに移籍することは絶対的な夢の実現だ。僕は新しい挑戦を本当に楽しみにしており、毎週トップレベルで成長し、自分自身を証明できることを楽しみにしている」とコメントしている。 2021年9月のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選のサンマリノ代表戦でポーランド代表デビューを果たしている。 2022.01.11 21:16 Tue
