今夏移籍の可能性があるラムズデール
ニューカッスルがアーセナルのイングランド代表GKアーロン・ラムズデール(25)への関心を再燃させているようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が報じた。

スペイン代表GKダビド・ラヤの加入により、今シーズンは控えの状況が続いているラムズデール。出番が与えられたのは国内カップ戦がメインで、公式戦12試合の出場にとどまっている。

そんなラムズデールは再びレギュラーとしてプレミアリーグを戦うことを熱望し、移籍の準備を進めているとのこと。退団に備えたいアーセナルも、メジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のコロンバス・クルーに所属するアメリカ代表GKパトリック・シュルト(23)をリストアップしているようだ。
そこでラムズデールの新天地候補に浮上しているのがニューカッスル。正守護神のイングランド代表GKニック・ポープが長期離脱となったため、冬の移籍市場でも獲得が噂されていた。

結局冬は移籍が実現せず、エディ・ハウ監督は控えのスロパキア代表GKマルティン・ドゥブラフカにゴールマウスを託している状況。ポープも4月末に復帰予定だが、前者が35歳、後者が31歳であることから、アーセナルの要求額次第ではより若いラムズデールの獲得に動く可能性があるという。
なお、ハウ監督とラムズデールはボーンマス時代に共闘。来シーズン、セント・ジェームズ・パークで再タッグを組むことになるのだろうか。

ニューカッスルの立て直しに貢献! PIFの買収を支えた共同オーナーのステーブリー&ゴドゥーシ夫妻がチームを去ることに

「着々とサウジに染まっていく…」ニューカッスルが緑色のアウェイユニフォームを発表!胸スポンサーもサウジの企業に

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー

どうやって乗ってるの!? 身長2mを超えるニューカッスルのCB、愛車は車高154cmのマイクロカー
