なでしこジャパンMF林穂之香のゴールが誤審により取り消される事態が発生。監督も怒りを口にしている。イギリス『BBC』が伝えた。24日、FA女子スーパーリーグ第17節でウェストハムとチェルシーが対戦した。ウェストハムは、林の他、FW植木理子、DF清水梨紗となでしこジャパンの3名が揃って先発出場。チェルシーのFW浜野まいかはメンバー外となった。

試合は開始2分にチェルシーのアギー・ビーバー=ジョーンズがネットを揺らして幸先良く先制。それでも14分に清水が右に展開すると、アヌーク・デントンがアーリークロス。これをヘディングで落とすと、飛び出した林がGKとの一対一を落ち着いて流し込んで同点ゴールを決めた。
ただ、直後にオフサイドの判定が下りゴールは取り消しに。それでも、リプレイの映像を見ると完全にオンラインであり、副審のミスジャッジでゴールは取り消しに。その後失点し、0-2でウェストハムは敗れていた。

下位に低迷するウェストハムにとっては大きな誤審。さらに、前節のリバプール戦、第11節のトッテナム戦でも誤審に泣かされていたこともあり、レハネ・スキナー監督は試合後に怒りを露わに。VARが導入されていないことにも苦言を呈した。
「ゴールはオンサイドで1メートル以上あった」

「先週(リヴァプール戦で)我々に対して2ゴールが決まったが、どちらも認められるべきではなかった」

「トッテナム戦、オフサイドにあるべきではなかったゴールについて、試合後にまた謝罪を受けた。正直に言うと少しうんざりしている」

選手たちのレベルが上がり、リーグとしてのレベルやプレーのレベルが上がっているFAWSL。一方で、審判団はプロではない方も多くおり、ジャッジの面でもレベルアップや改善が必要となりそうだ。

イングランド代表招集歴もあるDFが27歳で代表キャリアスタートか? ワン=ビサカがDRコンゴ代表に初招集

ウェストハムのDFアーロン・ワン=ビサカ(27)が、DRコンゴ代表に初招集された。 ロンドン生まれのワン=ビサカは、クリスタル・パレスの下部組織で育ち2018年1月にファーストチームに昇格。2019年7月にはマンチェスター・ユナイテッドへと移籍し、右サイドバックとして活躍した。 今シーズンからウェストハムに完全移籍。ユナイテッドでは出番が減っていた中、プレミアリーグで33試合に出場し2ゴール3アシストを記録。FAカップ、カラバオカップ(EFLカップ)でも1試合ずつ出場した。 そのワン=ビサカだが、これまでは世代別のイングランド代表とDRコンゴ代表の経験はあった中、初めてA代表に選出。DRコンゴ代表に招集された。 2019年9月にガレス・サウスゲイト監督の下、イングランド代表に招集を受けたが、背中の負傷もあり離脱。試合に出場しないまま、その後はお声がかからなかった。 DRコンゴ代表は6月5日にマリ代表、同8日にマダガスカル代表と親善試合を戦う。今年12月に予定されている2026年北中米ワールドカップ予選と、アフリカ・ネーションズカップに向けた準備であり、DRコンゴ代表にとっては大きな戦力になると期待されている。 1974年にザイール時代にW杯に出場しているが、DRコンゴとしては出場停止ない状況。現在6試合を終えてセネガル代表に勝ち点差1をつけた首位に立っている。 2025.05.10 21:25 Sat

ウィルシャーが妻に仕掛けた卑劣なタックルが酷い…

ライスがチェルシーアカデミーからの放出を回想…「大きな失望」

ウェストハムのイングランド代表MFデクラン・ライス(21)がチェルシーアカデミーから放出された際の心境を明かした。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えている。 ロンドン生まれのライスは、同い年のイングランド代表MFメイソン・マウントらと共に7歳から2014年までチェルシーのアカデミーに在籍していた。 だが、イングランド屈指のタレントが揃う同アカデミーで思うようにプレーできず、10代半ばで放出の憂き目に。そして、同じロンドンにあるウェストハムのユースへの移籍を強いられた。 それでも、2017年にトップチームデビューを果たすと、安定したボール捌きと守備力を生かしてアンカーの主力に定着。今夏の移籍市場では古巣チェルシーが呼び戻しに動く可能性も盛んに報じられている。 そういった状況の中でライスは、14歳のときに味わった「大きな失望」と表現するチェルシーアカデミー退団を振り返っている。 「14歳のときにチェルシーから放出されるという、大きな失望から立ち直る必要があったんだ」 「当時の僕は放出という事実が大きな失望でしかなかったよ。平日はいつもコブハムでトレーニングをしていたし、休日には多くの試合にも出ていた」 「それなのに、自分がもうチェルシーの一員ではないと告げられたときは大きなショックを受けたよ。自分の身にまさかそんなことが起こるとは思っていなかったけど、実際に起こってしまったんだ」 14歳の少年にとってチェルシーというエリートコースからの脱落の衝撃は非常に大きかったと思われる。だが、ライスは以降もプロフットボーラーになるという自身の夢に向けて、懸命に努力を重ねていたという。 「チェルシーから放出された後はフルアムとウェストハムのどちらかと契約できるという幸運な機会が訪れた。そして、僕はウェストハムを選び、自分のキャリアにおける新たな章をスタートしたよ」 「プロになるためにより厳しい状況になることはわかっていたけど、プロフットボーラーは子供の頃からずっと夢に描いてきたものだった。だから、その夢を実現するために一生懸命努力を続けたし、チェルシーでの挫折がマイナスな影響を及ぼすようなことはなかったよ」 「僕は元々、一途な性格だし、常に自分のベストを尽くしたいと考えているんだ。幾つかの犠牲を払い、自宅を離れて新しい挑戦の場に向かう必要があった。だけど、これまで自分が下したすべての決断が本当にうまくいったと感じているよ」 チェルシーアカデミーからの放出という挫折が現在のライスを形成していることは間違いないが、今夏あるいは将来的に古巣に帰還を果たすことになるのか…。 2020.04.26 14:25 Sun
