本田圭佑が、8日に他界した元ドイツ代表DFのフランツ・ベッケンバウアー氏を追悼した。

8日、“皇帝”の愛称で親しまれたベッケンバウアー氏が亡くなっていたことが家族により発表された。

病を患っていた中で、7日に息を引き取ったとのこと。レジェンドの死にはサッカー界の多くの人から追悼メッセージが寄せられている。

そんな中、本田も自身のX(旧ツイッター)を更新。幼少期に知った存在であるとし、「希望をもらった」と哀悼のメッセージを送った。

「私が子供の頃に父があなたのビデオを見せてくれて以来、選手と監督としてワールドカップで2度優勝したことを、この歳になっても覚えています」

「私に夢と希望を与えてくれてありがとう。R.I.P. フランツ」

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに

“爆撃機”と親しまれた元西ドイツ代表のレジェンド、ゲルト・ミュラー氏が75歳で逝去
