ドイツサッカー協会(DFB)は20日、シーズン開幕戦であるスーパーカップの名称を“フランツ・ベッケンバウアー・スーパーカップ”に変更することを発表した。
シーズン開幕を告げるブンデスリーガ王者とDFBポカール優勝チームによる一戦は、1976年に“DFBスーパーカップ”として誕生。その後、1996年より14年間の休止期間を経て、2010年から“DFLスーパーカップ”として公式に再開された。
今回の名称変更は、今年1月に78歳で逝去したドイツのレジェンドであるフランツ・ベッケンバウアー氏に敬意を示すもので、DFBのベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は公式サイトで以下のように説明した。
｢フランツ・ベッケンバウアーの功績と生涯の仕事を称え、敬意を表することは、私個人にとっても、DFBにとっても重要なことである。フランツ・ベッケンバウアーのサッカー界における功績は比類なく、忘れることはできない。スーパーカップの名称を変更することで、私たちはフランツ・ベッケンバウアーとサッカー界のつながりを目に見える形で示すことができる。それはプロだけでなく、DFBカップに参加するアマチュアも同様だ。ベッケンバウアー・ファミリーとDFLに感謝します｣
なお、今回の名称変更に伴い、大会のロゴやサポートプログラムなども変更されるとのこと。次回のスーパーカップは2025年8月16日に開催される。

DFBがスーパーカップの名称変更を発表!2025シーズンから“フランツ・ベッケンバウアー・スーパーカップ”に
ドイツサッカー協会(DFB)は20日、シーズン開幕戦であるスーパーカップの名称を“フランツ・ベッケンバウアー・スーパーカップ”に変更することを発表した。 シーズン開幕を告げるブンデスリーガ王者とDFBポカール優勝チームによる一戦は、1976年に“DFBスーパーカップ”として誕生。その後、1996年より14年間の休止期間を経て、2010年から“DFLスーパーカップ”として公式に再開された。 今回の名称変更は、今年1月に78歳で逝去したドイツのレジェンドであるフランツ・ベッケンバウアー氏に敬意を示すもので、DFBのベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は公式サイトで以下のように説明した。 ｢フランツ・ベッケンバウアーの功績と生涯の仕事を称え、敬意を表することは、私個人にとっても、DFBにとっても重要なことである。フランツ・ベッケンバウアーのサッカー界における功績は比類なく、忘れることはできない。スーパーカップの名称を変更することで、私たちはフランツ・ベッケンバウアーとサッカー界のつながりを目に見える形で示すことができる。それはプロだけでなく、DFBカップに参加するアマチュアも同様だ。ベッケンバウアー・ファミリーとDFLに感謝します｣ なお、今回の名称変更に伴い、大会のロゴやサポートプログラムなども変更されるとのこと。次回のスーパーカップは2025年8月16日に開催される。 2024.12.21 09:50 Sat

皇帝・ベッケンバウアーも関与が疑われたドイツW杯を巡る汚職事件は判決なしで時効…FIFAが無念の声明
国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は28日、汚職事件の裁判で判決が下されないことに関する声明を発表。「失望している」とした。 この汚職事件は、2006年のドイツ・ワールドカップ(W杯)に関連したもの。 2006年のワールドカップを招致するため、多額の贈賄工作が行われていた疑いが発覚。その関係者にドイツ代表としても活躍したレジェンドであるフランツ・ベッケンバウアー氏が関与していた疑惑が2015年に浮上していた。 疑われているのは、2005年にFIFAの元理事でありアジアサッカー連盟(AFC)の元会長であるモハメド・ビン・ハマム氏に対し、合計1000万スイスフラン(約11億円)の賄賂を贈ったとのこと。しかし、以前ベッケンバウアー氏は関与を否定している。 この件に関して、スイス司法当局がベッケンバウアー氏の自宅を家宅捜索するなどして起訴。2015年から裁判が続けられてきたが、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大を受けてストップ。また、スイスでは、詐欺罪に関して時効が15年に設定されており、この事件が時効を迎えてしまった。 FIFAは声明で「長年にわたってこの調査に全面的に揚力し、司法長官からの多くの要求に対応し、そのために多大な費用と管理時間を費やしました。訴訟が何の結果もなく終わってしまったという事実は、サッカーだけでなくスイスの司法行政にとっても、非常に悩ましいことです」と、判決が出なかったことを悔やむとともに、スイスの司法制度にも言及した。 また、「1000万スイスフランの支払いに関する真実がいつか明らかになり、不正行為をしたものが、スイスではないとしても、どこか他の場所で正当に制裁を受けることを期待します」とし、司法制度の違う国で調査が続くことに期待を寄せた。 贈賄にについては「FIFAの場合、正当な理由なしに1000万スイスフランの支払いがFIFAから行われることは不可能であり、受け入れることはできないため、このケースは終わっていません」とし、「何年も前に起こり、古いFIFAの兆候が見えたとしても、FIFAの独立した倫理委員会はこの問題や他の同様の問題について引き続き調査します」と内部調査は続けていくことも明らかにした。 最後には「FIFAはサッカーに害を及ぼす全ての責任者が、最終的に自身の行動を説明する責任を負い、永久に隠すことができないことを望み、信じて、スイスを含む全ての法執行機関と引き続き協力します」とし、贈賄を含む全ての不正に厳格に対応していく姿勢を打ち出した。 2020.04.29 11:30 Wed
